POSITRON 06.27.26 0900-0130 In the antimatter version of the universe, time flows backwards and the charges of all particles are reversed. Can we access this alternate reality and reverse the negative charge of our universe by combining high-velocity sonic collisions with altered states of human consciousness? We will test this critical research question by utilizing advanced prototypes of electronic dance music. Hosted at Tintolectro Test Labs within the Tintoretta Tattoo Studio Research Complex. THIS SATURDAY 🪩 Join @sunrisemvmtkc and @hyperstition.kc for a Bus Bench Fundraiser Dance Party at @manheimgardens ! We are tired of living in a city dominated by roads and parking lots, where it’s almost impossible to thrive unless you own a car. We believe every Kansas Citian deserves fast, frequent, reliable, and DIGNIFIED public transit. Yet instead of finding ways to expand KC’s transit system, our leaders (most of whom don’t ride the bus) are actually prioritizing removing amenities at bus stops. That’s why community members decided to take matters into our own hands, building and placing benches at bus stops that need them. Last year, Bench Please 1 raised enough money for over 30 community-built benches. Now that most of those benches have been placed at bus stops around the city, it’s time to raise more money for another round! 🪩 That’s why we’re hosting this party - all proceeds will go toward the purchase of supplies to build and install bus stop benches. Your attendance at this party can fundamentally alter the landscape of KC and bring us one step closer to the accessible and interconnected city we deserve. 🧑🏽‍🍳 We’ll be serving fresh-cooked food from 6-8pm - get it while supplies last ;) 🎫 go to Bit.ly/BenchPlease2 (case sensitive) or the link in our bio to get your tickets!!!

🪩UPDATED DATE 10/5 (THIS SATURDAY NIGHT): Join @hyperstition.kc for a Bus Bench Fundraiser Dance Party at Manheim Gardens on October 5th! ‼️ Bit.ly/benchplz for tickets ‼️ Car-based infrastructure is ruining our city, ruining our lungs, ruining our atmosphere, and ruining people’s budgets. Even though KC clearly needs better transit, our leaders choose instead to prioritize private profits and parking lots. That ain’t right! Suggested donation for tickets is $10. You can also choose to make an additional donation to our Bus Bench Fund on top of your ticket during checkout. If you have the means, do consider donating! All proceeds after operating costs go directly toward purchasing supplies for bus benches. Bring your dancing shoes and leave your worldly troubles behind - join us for an unforgettable equinox night of house music and liberation! White background black text for Bench Please event. Disco ball graphic at the top with information about event details. DJ lineup on the bottom half of the page.
