It’s a wrap — and what a weekend it was!
@kingsimonofficial’s 30-year celebration weekend wasn’t just an event… it was a moment in history. A reminder of why we must honor our heroes while they’re here, uplift the people who’ve uplifted us, and make sure the ones who pour into the community receive their flowers in real time.

I’ve known King Simon for so many years, and we’ve done countless events together — so many that we’ve literally lost track. That alone shows his consistency, his dedication, and his heart. He’s always given shine to others, always supported new voices, always pushed culture forward. Last night was our chance to reflect all that love right back to him.

And the beautiful part? We also got to celebrate @bluepillar44 50th birthday — another powerful king whose wisdom and presence continue to inspire our community.

To all our special guests, thank you for bringing your energy and making this celebration even more powerful.
To our amazing vendors, thank you for showing up with excellence and intention — you helped make the weekend unforgettable.
To @djhassanshabazz, thank you for blessing us with a soundtrack that had people literally saying, “The music was amazing from start to finish.” Facts.
And to my incredible staff, with a special shout-out to @officialbrigidturner and Nekhena Evans (@nubian.nyc), thank you for holding everything together with grace and strength.

Moments like this remind me why community matters and why Nicholas Brooklyn continues to be more than a store — it’s a living, breathing cultural hub.

Thank you, King Simon, for 30 years of impact. Here’s to many more.

Vendors this weekend: @thefigtreehg, @checkmatesweets, @kufunyastarrebel, @bluepillar44, Hankh Rising Sun, @phil_moreland, @abeni.ngozi, @browngirlempower, @p1health, @set_squad_nyc, and @captainderbysbooks ❤️

To all the special guest, y’all are amazing!: @earthiopian, @theblackdot1, @abundancechild, @i_am_the_god_6, @numbersandyou, @kufunyastarrebel, @ur_majesty13, @janlewrealestate @iamsharongordon, @kshabazz7 & more!

✨ She came for the honey… but what happened after? Pure confirmation.

Mrs. Andrea (@fortyandfabolous) walked into Nicholas Brooklyn after watching our recent videos about the stingless bee honey from Kura Alkaline (@kuraalkaline) —sourced straight from Colombia. What she didn’t mention until later? She had floaters in her vision.

The way her energy shifted after trying it? You have to see it for yourself. This is not your average honey—this is ancestral medicine from the hive. 🍯🐝

On Saturday, June 29th, 1-5 p.m. is the first formal digital Afroprep-NOW! workshop! Check out the website https://afroprepnow.com/ It's a quick scroll describing our mission and other related stuff. I originally planned to start in September during nat'l. preparedness month, but, with the state of the world as it is today, along with some of the absolutely shocking intel that I've learned over the past few weeks, we probably won't make it to September without some kind of major calamity. For example ...

This year's hurricane season is looking Luciferian! along with the prospect of a 911 2.0. BTW, the IC believes there's a very distinct possibility that when (not if) this happens it will have catastrophic consequences far beyond the WTC collapse. That's just one of the reasons why I can't wait. My community is far too vulnerable. So is my hometown. It's time to go hard ... it's literally Afroprep-NOW! or never!

I'll be posting more about this event tomorrow along with some info about a great project called Ikhaya-Eco (Ikhaya is Zulu for safe home) that I'm working on with my son Amen to help provide emergency shelters of our own designs that are 100% sustainable, patents pending! In addition, I'll be joining the Open Line Digital Show tomorrow morning where I'll explain more of the details. I'll also post all upcoming media appearances here, and all these other SM platforms that I'll really start using.
