BAKU ARCHIFEST 2025 BEGINS

Theme: Navigating Urbanity
Dates: November 5–7, 2025
Venue: ADA University, Baku

Baku Archifest 2025 is more than a festival it’s a living platform where architecture, design, and urban thought converge to explore the rhythm of a transforming city.

Organized by Design Bureau @designbureau.az and Aslı Architecture @asli.partners , and supported by PMD Projects @pmdprojectsllc Projects and Pasha Real Estate @pasharealestate.az , this year’s edition themed “Navigating Urbanity” invites students, educators, and professionals to rethink how architecture can respond to the shifting layers of modern urban life.

Hosted at ADA University @ada.university , the festival unfolds through lectures, workshops, competitions, and interactive sessions that spark dialogue between practice and academia. It’s a place where new ideas are born, collaborations emerge, and the next generation of architects begins shaping the future.

Rooted in Baku yet global in spirit, Baku Archifest embodies a shared vision: to create innovative and socially responsible environments that honor heritage while embracing change.

A city in transition.
A generation in motion.
Architecture as a bridge between both.

■ Yarat 10 IL / Multimedia Show (2022)
⊹
The artwork is intended to give the illusion that the architecture of the building itself reveals the plot of the show.

In the “Art” part, rich brushstrokes cover the entire facade, as if an artist covers the canvas with painting. In the “Sculpture” part, Niyaz Najafov’s sculptures are integrated, materializing from the stones of the facade and turning into a composition. In the “Music” part, the entire facade is revealed to demonstrate audio reactive 3D surfaces, which bend and deform under the frequencies of music. In the “Photo/Video” part the formation of images is shown, which travels through the structure, leading to the creation of an image on the matrix. In the “Installation” part, a construction appears out of the facade and is visible to the audience from different angles of view.

✺ Лекция Виктора Полякова @_victorpolyakov.com_

INTERVALS 2021 × Replicant Fashion
Fly to the Light!
