💭Storytime! How Kitty Velour ran straight into the full-force Sisters🐿️🐿️ ADHD energy... and what Corona had to do with it all 👀

Before Kitty came to teach workshops at my studio in October 2025, a whole lot had already happened!

Back in 2020, during short-time work and feeling pretty depressed like so many people during the pandemic, I rediscovered painting. I wasn’t especially good at it, but it gave me peace and a sense of happiness again. Around that time, I was already following Kitty on Instagram. I loved her lockdown videos, where she kept being a showgirl despite being stuck at home in just a few square meters. So I painted her.

In 2022, I opened my own studio and hung the painting up there.

Then in 2024, I met Kitty at the Pvssy Carousel in Saarbrücken. At the same event I also met @sophia.von.rosen , and only a few months later, in October 2024, the first Pvssy Carousel took place in Mannheim.

And it’s honestly wild to think that by the second Carousel, she was already headlining in Mannheim and teaching workshops at my studio afterwards. So this cat-paw-licking pic of Kitty & Hypercat was taken 5 years after I finished my painting, and I’ve grown a lot since then.✨

Thank you, Kitty, for not giving up either. That’s why all of this feels really special to me ♥️
