Afternoon tea with THIS view!

Yesterday, Kaylee and I attended the very first Island Influencer Event, hosted by Lo from @isleofwight at the beautiful @albionfreshwater in Freshwater Bay.

We enjoyed the new Autumn Afternoon Tea at The Rock Restaurant, overlooking what has to be one of my absolute favourite views on the Isle of Wight!

From the truffled egg brioche (you know my obsession with truffle! 🤭) to the delicious sweet treats and even Isle of Wight rooibos tea… the South African in me was very happy! 🇿🇦

And how lovely to finally meet Nicci from @i.love.wight and her mum! Along with Amy @allaboutamyambrose @lifeisallwight and Michelle @bestofthe.isleofwight

Now for the important question…

A cream tea 🫖 by the sea?! Yes please!!
Even in October @albionfreshwater means you can sit by the “fresh water” eating all your favourite sweet treats!
(That chocolate mousse was in my dreams last night)
Thank you @isleofwight for being Queen cream tea organiser!
Side note - I think this is the best hotel on the island & if you come by foot ferry they will pick you up from Yarmouth!!

We had the most gorgeous day @albionfreshwater 🌊🤍

We started with a @balanceandglo yoga session, listening to the sounds of the waves, taught by the lovely @kkg_wellness 🧘🏻‍♀️

We then tried @albionfreshwater new autumn afternoon tea. Delicious food, a beautiful view & they catered perfectly to my allergies. Washed down with some cocktails 🍸

Since 2007 he has performed in venues across the UK, Europe, and North America. Solo performance highlights include New York’s Carnegie Hall and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London.

These concerts are part of the Wight Proms Wednesday series, taking place monthly throughout the year.

Last Friday we had the absolute PLEASURE of attending the @the_lowandslowco new restaurant opening night! & what a treat that was!!

We had a tray with HUGE selection & devoured the lot! Safe to say it was a winner 😆
We knew it would be something special after Matt still smashing it at @sandownboulevard so now we have two options for the best Texas styled BBQ food on the Island!

Can't wait to try their roast!!! 🔥

As much as I’m ready for the “ber” months, I’m going to miss this 🥹

Beach days, paddleboarding, seaside walks, dinners and drinks by the sea, lots of time with friends and family, watching the boys enjoying the outdoors, that little face when he mastered stand-up paddleboarding, and so much sunshine ☀️

Basically, I spent most of August in, on or somewhere near the sea 🪸🌊

I’m ready for you, September… but I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to the summer holidays yet 🤍
