His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches me.

September was definitely a time of reflection and renewal for me.

It brought me joy and sorrow.
It brought me love and hope.
It brought me clarity and plans of action.

I’m going to keep moving forward.
Working on changes in me.
Keeping my eyes on the prize.
I will not give up.

Keep your head up Y’all!
Life is for the living so LIVE!
And use your powers for GOOD!

This is ALL a Good Thing!

Sending Love…
Cece

I am always excited to see Christine’s envelope arrive for the heidinART ATC swap! ( @i.tear.paper ) She sent me an ATC for me and also some very cool baubles. You KNOW at least one of these will show up in my new junk journal! 💛

“Memories are timeless treasures of the heart.”

August tends to be a time of reflection for me. My baby sister was born in this month and I find that as I grow older, I’m missing her more and more.

Her name was Gina and she was an actual LIGHT! She was always showering those around her with Love AND she was well loved!

She was an actress and a beautiful singer who pursued her dreams and passions vigorously! I was always so proud of her accomplishments and admired her greatly.

Gina, you are still a light to me and I can’t wait to see your little angel face in Heaven!

Big shoutout to my beautiful friends and collaborators Itziar @and_.styles and Christine @i.tear.paper for the Good Things Zine this year! You two are such a Blessing and a Joy to me!

I LOVE you!
Cece💕

NOTE: This was supposed to be a pocket insert but I fell in love with this black and white pinstriped paper and didn’t want to cover it up!
I’ll have another chance to create a pocket card (or something) in November so I’ll see how that goes…

I’m see lots of my familiar favorites on this page! (And one I am unsure of who made it… the green one in the middle right only has the initials MJP on it. The bottom left corner is by Maria Maddry and the blue one next to it is by Avery Bohman.)

Some of my favorite cards that I’ve received swapping ATC’s @heidinart this past year. So thankful to Heidi and all the participating artists who make this happen each month. You make me smile! I tagged the artists for this month. #simply_made_unique_by_jmae
