Thinking of the desert as I pack away tools that usually head into the dust! Some memories from when we brought Charon to @burningman in 2017 and the incredible humans who made it possible. Missing you all!

Very grateful for my hardworking crew and all the support and help we’ve have along the way! We are currently fundraising for our European Tour (link in bio).

We would also like to thank Rust-Oleum Europe @rustoleumfrance who kindly supported us on this event by providing us with the adapted paint solutions for our project. More specifically @erwanboulzennec the Rust-Oleum Sales Executive in the southern part of 🇫🇷 Merci Beaucoup

Scott’s one of the core crew members for the Sonic Runway; I don’t think we’ve seen each other since the heyday of Flickr, back in 2009

Discovered at last! 🌅The group shot from the most hilarious team that built Passage Home at Burning Man this year. 🌅What a joy to work “in the trenches” (literally!) with these dudes! We worked dawn to dusk to align these 5 Portals with the rising sun. 🌅
.
Here we are celebrating completion with Larry and some champagne at sunset on Sunday, in deep playa. 🌅where, by some strange miracle the all day dust storm left a 100’ vortex of clear visibility around us to build, and DPW was still willing to bring the trencher out and get it done despite the conditions. You guys rock! 💪 🌅 🌅Thank you to Scott “Smash” Ashkenaz for the photo ! Massive Gratitude all of you : L to R kneeling: Nolan McGahan, Rob Dewaters, Darin Greyerbiehl, Shawn @roboyak Cunningham, Chris “Ding Dong” Dadzitis, Michael Angus Standing L to R: Matt Knudsen, Me, Grady McGcGahan, Scott “Smash” Ashkenaz @i8chile . Also integral to the Passage Home build team: Dallas @dallaswonderland Brian Jones @bojonvelvet and Burnjng Man HEaT DPW —Thank you all for coming through with your talents and silliness!! 💪😂
.
Thank you to other good friends: Tomas McCabe @tomotakesphotos for helping me to build the artwork in New York, and Heather Gallahger @cameragirlsf , Sean Orlando @engineered_artworks for their logistic help on playa .
🔥major thanks to David Shearer, Ryan Wartena and Joshua Tree at Black Rock Labs for the Solar Power! 🌅 and Daniel Finton from the NY Container for all your vital shipping and logistic support!!! .
. 🔥Special thanks to Jennifer Desmond @jennydez and Zachary Smith @treeoftenere2017 who organized the fundraising from incredibly generous donors.
🔥 I Could not have made this tribute to Larry without those patrons, and the generosity of each of the supporters who gave their time and resources to create this simple, but love-filled artwork possible!!! 🔥Thank you Larry! You will always be welcomed back Home 🔥🌅🔥
