What a nice fishing session! I was able to get a nice fatty on the fly (my personal best) then three more. David got one, but better than nothing! He was more excited I was doing so well. I learned from the best 🥰

So proud of my husband for landing this fatty today! I’m glad I was there to net it and experience this catch with him!

Wholly Carp!
Had an AMAZING fishing extravaganza yesterday with my favorite human. Never seen so many huge carp stacked up like this! I caught my first little catty here and caught 4 more! David ended up nailing a nice fatty and some cats as well. No carp, but we’ll invest in some carp flies and try again soon!

What really made my Christmas Eve was catching this striper in the canal with my husband’s new net!
New species to add to my list 😎

Throwback to when we were going fishing up north. David doesn’t look as excited but he was!
