What an incredible opportunity I was granted last night. We filmed an event at @joelrobuchon.lasvegas with @sabatino truffles. The vibe, flow and talent in that kitchen were as impressive and high level as I’ve ever witnessed in my 20 somethin’ years of being in and around the culinary industry. I’m grateful for the ongoing relationship I have with @chefsroll for making my job rewarding and exciting. It’s moments like this that I’m reminded of why I got into video and why I’ve stayed close to food and food people both personally and professionally.

Growing up as the daughter of a chef, stepping into a fine-dining kitchen has always been exciting for me. It feels like being invited backstage to a part of the restaurant that most guests never see, not just where dishes are prepared, but where countless hands, decisions, and hours of work come together before a plate reaches the dining room. I always leave these visits with a deeper respect for how many people work behind each dish. As a Michelin diner, also the daughter of a retired executive chef, I never want to lose sight of the work behind every dish: the thought behind each detail, the precision of every touch, and the countless efforts that make a single moment at the table possible. Whenever a plate is placed in front of me, I try to remember that what I experience in a few bites represents the work of those people in the kitchen. Being able to see the kitchen of the two-MICHELIN-starred Joël Robuchon Las Vegas was especially meaningful to me. It was a personal and emotional experience to witness the people behind a restaurant that has been part of my dining journey for so many years. Congratulations to Joël Robuchon Las Vegas on receiving two stars from the MICHELIN Guide! This has been one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas for more than a decade, so being there for the star reveal at the MICHELIN ceremony made the moment so memorable. Immediately after the ceremony, I went to the two-starred restaurant and, again, chose the Menu Dégustation at $525. Beginning with Le Caviar Impérial, a legendary dish that people have long associated with the Chef, I had that exciting feeling of returning to a place that holds so many memories for me. The Brentwood corn cream was another highlight, beautifully suited to the end of summer, with the distinct sweetness of the corn. And, of course, La Langoustine, deeply flavorful as I remembered. The restaurant also offers a Vegetarian Tasting Menu at $425, as well as Express Menu options at $235, $295, and $335. Wine pairings range from $225 to $995. Thank you, Chef @i_ssaid for another incredible dinner. My first Joël Robuchon experience was actually at the Tokyo location, but @joelrobuchon.lasvegas has become a particularly meaningful place for me over the years. And congratulations to @seanchris_topher on receiving the MICHELIN Guide Service Award. You and your team consistently deliver service that is highly professional while remaining genuinely warm and personal. I would also like to thank Andrew, whose continued attention has made so many of my visits especially enjoyable. It is the people behind the dining room who often become part of the dining memories, and I am grateful for the care Joël Robuchon team has shown over the years. Many milestones for the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant de Joël Robuchon ⭐️⭐️ at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Beyond the stars, it’s home to the first and only Latino executive chef in all of Robuchon’s history, Eleazar Villanueva (@i_ssaid), whose parents came to the US from Durango, Mexico 🇲🇽 (and one of the youngest at the age of 33 to date), as well as to general manager Sean Christopher (@seanchris_topher), who was recognized with the Michelin Service Award— a reflection of Robuchon’s commitment to excellence extending beyond the kitchen to every aspect of the dining experience. La semana pasada viví una de mis mejores experiencias gracias a mi hija, ya que sin ella jamás hubiera podido ir a comer a uno de los mejores restaurantes con estrella Michellin aquí en Las Vegas. Estoy muy orgullosa de ella y muy agradecida con el Chef Eleazar Villanueva que le dio la oportunidad de aprender y de trabajar en esta cocina tan prestigiada. Sinceramente les recomiendo que una vez en su vida visiten el restaurante de #L’ATELIER y #JoëlRubucho les aseguro que vivirán una de sus mejores experiencias culinarias.
