Since my first visit in 2019, Kazbek has become almost like an old friend — a mountain I’ve shared many different moments of my life with. I’ve hiked around it, climbed it, and returned to the area at different points in my life.

In late August ‘25, I returned to Kazbegi for the Mountain Marathon — this time as a marshal at the Altihut checkpoint, 3,014 m above sea level.

This was July First Saturday. Yes, we know it’s August.
Better late than never? 😌

Our first Saturday run of the month: 7 Roads @sevenroads.tbi with friends, beers after the run, birthday celebrations, flowers for 3 birthday girls and one boy, insanely good cakes, endless laughter, table football, table tennis, and conversations about everything under the sun.

We love these Saturdays. ❤️

Trails, mountains, friends and unforgettable moments. The last evening after the Mestia Ultra Race by @traillabrace was all about exploring, laughing, and celebrating the adventure. 🏔️

I guess I'll do one or two more videos from this gorgeous place soon.

P.S. If anyone knows the song please let me know the name. We stumbled upon a choir performing it and really liked it ❤️
