Cellist in @quatuor.agate —- 💿 BRAHMS: The String Quartets out

$Concert for all 19/09/2026 ✨️ We live in a society fractured by inequality and unfairness. And yet, underneath it all, we remain human — every one of us — and to my mind, that alone should be reason enough to treat one another with kindness and equality, whoever we are and wherever we come from. I am quite convinced that music is a universal language. Many years ago, I chose to give a large part of my life to the service of music and musicians, in the belief that this language — among others — has the power to carry us all, together, to moments outside of time and reality. Today, four concerts later, I can hardly find the words to tell you what this project has meant to us. After every concert, I watched people deeply moved, brimming with gratitude - but what struck me most, each and every time, was watching strangers who might never otherwise have crossed paths sit quietly side by side, listening to the same music in the same stillness. Concert after concert, I watched our guests from the soup kitchen edge a little closer, stay a little longer - proof, once again, that music does matter, and that it truly can belong to everyone. I wanted to thank you all, from the bottom of my heart — volunteers, audience, friends — for making this project so special, so beautiful, so meaningful to me, and to all of us. I could not tell you how many times I stood in this church and simply watched, deeply moved, as something like grace passed among us. I could hardly finish this without telling you how grateful I am — how grateful we all are — to the @quatuor.agate. Beyond being remarkably gifted musicians, they are, first and foremost, wonderful people, with open and generous hearts. None of this would have been possible without them. So thank you so much, Juliette, Adrien, Raphaël, Simon and Thomas.
