“It’s a good day to be Indigenous.” 🧡🪶

This Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Neon Desert Vintage is proud to welcome two Native women-owned businesses to the Las Vegas Arts District!

A warm welcome to iaf.inc and Main Street Showcase. As a Native woman-owned business, it means so much to see our presence here continue to grow in the Arts District!

Here’s to supporting one another, creating space, and growing Indigenous representation in our community.

Be sure to stop by their grand openings and support! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Read Indigenous Stories 📚

This month we’re collaborating with @crushpadwinebar for another book and wine pairing:

Indigenous horror/dark fiction anthologies
▪️ Never Whistle at Night (2023)
▪️ Part II: Back for Blood (2026)

✨ Themed wine flights available during our free reading club meetup on Oct 29th!

In recognition of our local tribal nations, and the awareness of alcohol’s impact on these communities, we’re sharing some information about these histories alongside the book recommendations.

Community building is stronger when we welcome and understand others, and as the others on this land I encourage everyone to appreciate the privilege of sharing Nevada with its original caretakers.

✨ Please consider supporting @iaf.inc, the ITCN, and other Native-led organizations.

And enjoy these stories from indigenous writers! We highly recommend the audiobook performances of these anthologies.

Please drink (and read) responsibly 🧡
Non-alcoholic beverages are always available at our events!

Next Monday!!! I got snacks, bring your art and let’s create. See you next week :)

Also calling out my Dazante friends, please feel free to bring your regalia. Let’s also work on our trajes

✨ CREATORS SPACE ✨
A space for artists, creatives, and community.
We’re opening the doors at Malinalli Studios every 2nd Monday from 6–9PM.
This isn’t a class.
This isn’t a workshop.
This is a gathering.
Bring a project you’re working on. Sit beside other creatives. Paint. Draw. Write. Design. Dream. Build.
The intention is simple:
To strengthen our art community.
To connect.
To create alongside one another.
When artists gather, something powerful happens. Energy shifts. Ideas expand. Community grows.
Let’s build together. 🤝🎨

📍 Malinalli Studios
1335 S. Maryland Pkwy
Las Vegas, NV

A special thank you to @iaf.inc for their sponsorship in supporting this to come into fruition. We love and appreciate you all ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

We are terribly saddened by the gun violence on October 2, 2026, which resulted in the harm caused to First Friday attendees and heartbreaking loss. Our hearts go out to the family and friends of the 15-year-old boy who lost his life, others who were hurt, and everyone who was and will be affected by this senseless violence.

We are reminded that our communities are facing daily violence, reduced program funding, and few outlets for our youth to positively express themselves. Our values serve as the foundation and motivation for our business approach, and we will continue working to come up with creative solutions to increase community programming.

As we get ready to open a new space in the Arts District, we are glad to be in the heart of where people gather to enjoy artistic expression. We are reflecting on what took place at First Friday, what we experienced while there, and how we can contribute to the community in the future.
