Have you caught any shows with Aleksei playing this Gibson '96 Les Paul or any other guitar? Or do you prefer your frontman guitarless? 😉

"I want to sincerely thank every single person who came and saw us on our first so-called little tour for 'Love of the Serpentine Eye'. You guys and girls made this run of eight shows absolutely phenomenal and made us all feel special. Every night we saw new (and some returning) faces, and words can't describe how excited we were to see you all enjoy our music and support our passion.

I also thank every person who worked with us during these last few weeks, who made these shows possible. To every single band we've played with, to every single promoter and every single venue, thank you for letting us share our music and working together with us!

Lastly, I would love to thank all of my band members. We went through thick and thin during these gigs and I appreciate every single one of you for putting in all the effort you could!

And special thanks goes to our beloved Vivi. Without you this would not be possible.

Triple hurrah for all of you! The curtain falls for now. We will be back.

ᴀᴄᴛᴀ ᴇꜱᴛ ꜰᴀʙᴜʟᴀ, ᴘʟᴀᴜᴅɪᴛᴇ! 🖤🥀"

@blackenedroseofficial conveys goth metal and prog metal in ways which are very tight and feels sooo authentic - like if I'm in a snowy forest and it's covered in snow everywhere.

@iagunkov @lwammusic @josh.chaseling_drums @578a.xel and @vin_fuel1216 are all very tight which makes them very flawless together at a very consistent momentum.

With this set specifically, Josh is starting to smile more, best showcased when they covered The Ghoul by Pentagram where's not afraid to show his teeth while smiling. Also in the very first song, Aleksei dons a magician hat on like he's ready to conjure some magic. Often he'd flip his hair up which is very engaging to see, encouraging me to do the same as well in the pit. Axel also has moments of flipping his hair up and headbang-windmilling best showcased during the punk rock version of Ginger Red (Oh So Bad). Aleksei interacted with Liam in Ginger Red as Axel shredded away which makes Blackened Rose's chemistry very dynamic and engaging. Vin also maintains a very steady rhythm whereas Josh is also utilising the double kick pedals at a creative momentum at times. Hence Aleksei would often put his foot on the sound monitor.

Additionally Aleksei growlled twice - once in the 4th song and again right at the end of Crimson Red Snow which drives home a concept of being a monument apart. That monument being, say, a place with strong resonance very close to your heart but you're saying goodbye after emotionally exploring the place one last time.

Love Of The Serpentine Eye returns - listening to this so much in my free time resulted in my subliminal deep resonance in terms of how my head and neck responds to the song.

Something about Blackened Rose is really engaging with such a strong resonance; no doubt this sensation of getting goosebumps and headbang-windmilling I am getting to really feel each every time I see them play live.

I was headbanging quite hard when they covered The Ghoul yet it felt satisfying for my brain stimulus, head and neck to respond to the song tempo.

A set I enjoyed which really got me in a genuine mood and vibe for my head/neck to respond to Blackened Rose's very tight performance once again!

@blackenedroseofficial returns to Moshpit Bar once again as they perform a set which is not only very tight but also flawless in delicate ways.

It's very rare for me to see @josh.chaseling_drums perform without a hat as the hat is his signature style stage presence wise. However he's all formal'ed up, like he's going to a corporate event. @lwammusic he energises bass riffs in strong levels. @vin_fuel1216 also maintains a very steady momentum on keys/piano where he gets to really maintain a steady tempo during his solo part in Crimson. Axel maintains steady riffs and fluid solos on guitar while Aleksei's vocals contain a mellow resonance filling the air with bliss.

@iagunkov got to wear a magician hat for about one song at the very start; @578a.xel also wore the hat briefly as the intensity of his headbanging. I think the hat added to the professionalism the set is conveying stage presence wise.

For the entire set, Aleksei is guitarless whereby he has all the room to do quick hair flips, best showcased in Serpentine This has encouraged me to do so too which makes me genuinely happy he's flipping his hair up again.

I needed to scream it out once drum starts in Crimson Red Snow as this was present in the studio version. By this point this is where I really got to see Josh's momentum flowing very smoothly in terms of overall confidence and focus. And Aleksei did the scream at the end of Crimson as well! Which is so powerful to potentially cause showers to pour steadily outside.

Their cover of The Ghoul by Pentagram returns as I let loose with headbanging and feet stamping - this was the last song in their very tight set and thanks to how heavy the song is, letting loose was the most ideal solution on my end.

I think this specific set projecting 75-82 decibels (SPL) has really emphasised the unknown of either tomorrow, next few months ahead etc. after hearing Crimson Red Snow live again; Blackened Rose has really captured the esesence of a strong resonance captured through songs and performance sonically.

Nevertheless a set I enjoyed which got my head, neck and feet in an adrenaline trance as well on a Sunday nigh
