This was one of the hardest goodbyes 💔 thanks for 16 years of pure joy and unconditional love, we’re so grateful to have had you in our lives. A constant through ups and downs, our home is empty without you. You were the best girl 🐾 ♥️ I love you so much.

Collaboration with the awesome @iaintsmart award-winning photographer.

I escaped to the breathtaking beauty of the Isle of Skye through this piece 🌄🎨 Inspired by the rugged landscapes and serene vistas, capturing the essence of Skye’s enchanting scenery. Diving into the magic of Scotland’s natural wonders in mixed media and resin.

Final chance to see Julie Laing's 'low-sodium, night frequencies' 🧡 Here's a reminder of the low-sodium magic we enjoyed at the opening (and which will briefly glow in the gallery again tomorrow), video courtesy of Iain Smart.

To close this exhibition Julie (@j_a_laing) is hosting a unique creative workshop in the gallery tomorrow from 15:45, joined by sound artist bryant (@iamthepaperman). Booking essential!

You’ll hear how their interactions with this soon-to-be-gone phenomenon inspired photographs, poetry and sound pieces that are hauntingly nostalgic, a bit uncanny and often unexpected. Inside the gallery, you’ll directly observe the low-sodium glow and its sensory effects, (yes - the lamp returns!) and be guided in how to express your reaction to it.

Depending on your practice you’ll make visual, aural and/or textual sketches and be invited to share these with the group. Booking closes tonight at midnight - booking link in bio.

Clear, crisp and sunny - couldn’t ask for a better day for an autumn hike. Warmer up top than the bottom for sure!
