90%+ in a workout full of shots most kids can’t make at a normal clip.

I’ve watched him grow since his freshman year—from a talented kid into a leader, a floor general, and a flat out problem. He’s a high level PG that makes everyone around him better.

The last few summers haven’t allowed the AAU world to see him. But that doesn’t change what I know. And when the right people finally see what I see, they’re going to understand. #morethanenough #nextlevel #harlembasketball #playerdevelopment #bestpginGA

Georgia’s basketball story isn’t told by one team or one post. It’s told by players across the state who compete against each other, then collectively raise the standard of one of the nation’s premier basketball states.

This is another group of Georgia’s Class of 2027 that VD Athlete has followed closely through live evaluations and film study. There is still plenty more talent across the state we’ll be highlighting soon.

Go out and support these athletes this season. Celebrate the moments while they’re still creating them. If you’re in Metro Atlanta or anywhere in Georgia, catch them in person. You may be a to catch many of them under one roof at showcases like the On the Radar Tip-Winter Classic, Atlanta’s Holiday Classic, or Grayson’s New Year’s Classic.

Many of these players will compete on college basketball’s biggest stages one day and some will go on to play professional. Today, they’re continuing to write Georgia’s basketball story.

Different schools. Different counties. One Georgia. 🏀

After transferring from Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy, Ethan Allen will suit up for Mount de Sales Academy for his senior season. A composed lead guard, Allen changes speeds well, makes the right reads, shoots it with confidence and can create offense on or off the ball. His high basketball IQ and steady decision-making make him the type of player every coach values.

Omari Chaudhry transferred from Overtime Elite to Hillgrove ahead of his senior season. The 6-foot-2 guard is a physical playmaker who attacks downhill, creates off the dribble, finishes through contact and uses his strength to control the pace of the game on both ends of the floor.

Tyce Curtis is a 6-foot-5 shifty guard who impacts the game well beyond scoring. The Wheeler senior gets downhill, finishes through contact, creates opportunities for teammates and can defend multiple positions, giving the Wildcats another versatile two-way playmaker after transferring from Campbell.

as this 5yr run comes to an end, it also starts a new beginning. yea we didn’t leave Augusta w/ the peach jam trophy but we left with every kid on the team having a D1 offer and other accolades.

you wouldn’t have told me back in spring of ‘22, I’ll check off half of my coaching goals in the next 5yrs. from becoming the best team in the state, being one of the top teams in EYBL/nation, having nationally ranked kids and coaching on the best circuit in the world Nike EYBL.

about 98% of the kids we were able to coach will go to college to play a sport. So to every player that’s ever put on a jersey for us from Game Elite to Jet Academy, every parent and family member that’s been apart of this journey THANK YOU!

Also thank you Jet Academy for giving us a chance to be apart of the Nike EYBL circuit.
