I’ve had a week to reflect on the 2nd annual @theefclegacy tournament, and all I can think is WOW! Everything that possibly could have went wrong did. Rain delay, teams no-showing, equipment problems, and so much more. But in the end, it didn’t matter one bit. My team came together and put on our best tournament yet. Competition grew stronger and the crowd grew larger. It was everything I could have asked for and more. Thank you to every person who has supported us along the way. Make sure to follow @theefclegacy to stay up to date on what’s to come. Year three will see some major changes and we want you all there to witness it! Carl, I know you would have loved this. Love you and miss you buddy. Until next year…🧡🏀

Our first tournament has officially come to a close! First, congrats to our winning team, Ki Code! All teams played their hearts out and we know Carl would have loved to watch this.

Thank you to everyone that made this tournament possible. Thank you to @maldenrec for giving us the space and resources to make this tournament possible! Thank you to all of the players for showing up from across mass to celebrate an amazing day with us. And finally, thank you to those that came to support. Whether you were taking pictures or just there to celebrate the day, we appreciate you for all of the love.

Remember, this is only the beginning. We have already started to plan on next year and we are ready to go above and beyond.

Where do I start? Over the past couple of days, I've been reflecting and feeling overwhelmed with gratitude. Who would have thought how big this could become within just one month of planning?

@theefclegacy is bigger than a basketball tournament. It’s the only way Carl would have wanted his life to be celebrated, with the people he loved and a whole lot of basketball!

There are so many people to thank. First off, thank you to Mr.Levine and @maldenrec for giving us everything we needed and more to make this possible. Thanks to all of those that donated, without you, this simply could not have been as good as it was. And finally, thank you to all of those that came to play, watch, volunteer, or to support and celebrate Carl’s life. We can only move up from here. Stay tuned to see what comes next! I know you would have loved this buddy🧡. Miss you everyday.
