Now that it’s been approximately three weeks since I graduated from the ministry intensive, I can reflect on the experiences I’ve had during those eight weeks. When I first arrived, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I simply knew that I had committed to the Lord and was determined to honor that commitment.

The first few weeks were incredibly challenging. It had been 25 years since I had been in college, and I felt rusty and unconfident. Writing my first few 500-word essays was a struggle, and I often sounded silly.

However, after a few average grades and some valuable advice from Olivia Dan, I began to apply myself more diligently and leverage technology to my advantage. Gradually, I developed a genuine love for the classes, my classmates, the teachers, and most importantly, the Word of God. I also discovered that God wanted me to be a part of His family.

This brings me to my final point: the concept of family. When I started this journey, I felt alone in the wilderness. But as each week passed, I realized something beautiful. I realized that the Lord had given me the opportunity to create my own family through this experience. I wanted spiritual parents in my life, and I found them in my pastors. I also gained a few brothers and sisters in the faith who became like family to me. And finally, I was blessed with four amazing daughters. These women were not just looking for a father figure to validate their accomplishments; they were seeking a father who would love and support them unconditionally.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to CRMI for the growth and spiritual maturity I’ve gained. I also want to thank all the preachers, teachers, and counselors who have been instrumental in my journey. And most importantly, I want to thank God for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself.

I moved back home after 6 years in February this year, as an act of obedience. There was so much resistance and tears, that I couldn’t understand why the Lord wanted me back home. But now I have finally overcame that sacrifice. And the Lord continues to humble me and make my heart softer and gentler. It’s been so comforting to trust my identity as a Daughter of the Lord. ❤️
