POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I recorded these videos this same day in 2025, thinking I'd get the chance to put it together and send as a gift to my mom but my creative senses did not have room to flex.
This year, though, I pushed against the resistance and I'm grateful to God it turned out well.
And isn't it a thing of wonder that I am not cringing at myself in this video? Hehe. 😂

Happy birthday to you, @olumi_ventures, mummy fine fine, Iye mi.
I love you all the way.

Credits to @iam_berachah for the video overlay at the end.

#throwback This time last week, I was at @skyfitlagos with @iam_berachah, @iamomotolanifaith and @kindymavis, at the @amazonfit__ Wellness and Brunch. Yes, it was amazon! 🤭 And I had a lotta fun. Glad I did not turn down the offer.

And as the Nigerian that I am, I did not miss the chance to take a picture with the amazing @shapeshiftalice, who legit made me reaffirm my intentions to be fit and to keep keeping fit even as a grandma and great grandmother. 😂😍

And what better way to tell that weird dream I had about @siruti that it was actually straight up weird? 😅 Well, I got a shot with him too. Because, why not? 🤷🏾‍♀️ Not too much paparazzi sha, just putting stuff on record. 😎

The cherry on the cake, however, is how the Girl Guiding spirit in my girls pushed us to voluntarily clean up the premises after the workout sessions. I hustled for a sack (which I got from the ice-bath people during the challenge) and my girls separated the @pocarisweatng bottles from the @monsterenergy cans. Because, recycling is a lifestyle and in a geo-location that doesn't exactly recognize it, we set a standard. We made sure we cleared the litters and I couldn't have mistook the relief in my girls. Nah, they felt satisfied. And even when the food vendors delayed and almost did not get our brunch (which was generously made available by the host @selfitnessng), we were unbothered when we set to leave. But, you know, the man who works must eat. We got our package the moment we stepped out of the elevator at the exit. 😋

It was a win-win situation. Got the chance of a workout vacay with my girls. 🤩 Got the chance to see some of our amiable TV personalities looking all peng, beautiful and handsome in person. No cap. Got the chance to have a taste of @etifarmsglobal mushrooms which had me wondering if I can do well with foreign meals. 🙈 Got the chance to practicalize what we are taught and what we preach by cleaning up our environment. 💯 Shout out to the Girls' Guide Association worldwide.
There's no way I'm forgetting the experience soon. 😊

Cheers to living long and in good health to experience more beautiful events like this and even better ones. 😁 Cheers to @amazonfit__

In appreciation to God and in honor of my hard lover self, I'm documenting this to remind me that I love my dad really much.

Nah, I was way too happy that day, one would think I'm the one celebrating. But wasn't I? 😂

I made the decision to have fun and I delivered. No cap.

Congratulations to my dad, once again. It's a Milestone that can only be achieved once but its effect is long lasting.

On to the next big thing. Leggo! 💪🏾

Omo! So, I decided to listen to this poem I recorded for Father's day in 2021. Ngl, I published this with my eyes closed and never went back to it even though I relistened to other episodes before and after it. I just felt it wasn't good enough but left it there without a reason. 🤔 I did not think I could bear the cringe of it. But, I lie down to be corrected. 😂 It's actually not bad. I mean, I could really cop this spoken word thingy. 🌝 Plus, it's sort of become a monumental tribute to my dad.

For real, though, do you know what it's like to face the supernatural and family drama head-on? I do.
And now, you can listen to how journaling helped me analyze my thoughts without bias here: https://anchor.fm/ireflexible/episodes/When-dad-could-have-died-e133td9 mystery

PS: Congratulations, dad. Our testimony abounds. ❤️💐

Let's take a moment to thank God for technology. Because, how do we record moments? How do we visually review memories?
These kids really 'jaye' as they said in my latest podcast.
Somehow I'm jelly of how unbothered they are having so much fun.

Recorded on the 30th of December, 2021. Finally edited on the 22nd of February, 2022. What happened in between? I procrastinated, I got stuck on what music would fit, I got overwhelmed on the stretch of splits I had to edit. I mean, having kids work on a project is not for the weak hearted. Believe me, not everything recorded made it to the final edit. And I have to say, I haven't gone so far but this is by far the most complex podcast to edit. Me and kids don't really go well, y'all. However, during my hiatus, I got to find some pretty dope music. They literally get me on a high. And here I am after countless breakdown and reaffirming my sanity, an overdue podcast episode I present. My darlings were exciting and loud. So, I advice you not to have your volume really up. I hope y'all laugh, cringe, awwn and above all enjoy it. I'm not sure of another episode with kids, though. 😪 BTW, Shaed and Jon Bellion threw up musical magic on this episode. Will you thank them for me? Heh🤭

Link's in my bio, lovelies.

First on the list of good news:
We're launching a Fiction Writers' Academy!

This is for :
Those who like to write but need more coaching and finesse to their skill,
Those who have stacked up and unfinished manuscripts and want to move from being writers to authors,
Those who want to write but are not quite sure where or how to start,
Those who need better understanding of the dynamics of prose fiction,
And those who need a community of writers to grow with and for accountability.

We have periodic classes otherwise tagged boot camps, one on one access to mentoring beyond the class, and private tutoring for those who want it.

If this sounds like you, find us through the link in bio. Feel free to share as well if you know anyone who might need it.☺️
