Here we go @skatelovebcn ! The Skate Love team have been working on this festival for months, with a positive spirit and keeping each other going when there has been set back after set back. None of us anticipated it would be as challenging as it has! I've been holding my breath for a few weeks, keeping everything crossed it will be okay, I still won't believe it until I'm on the plane... MASSIVE THANK YOU to the RGG team who will be supporting our little community in Leeds while I'm away, I'm incredibly grateful to have you all as part of the journey. 😘😘😘😘 Ill hopefully have a bit more time to actually share what's going on ... This year I've booked the sports hall workshops, and can't wait to meet the teachers and learn from some skate legends! I'm also part of the panel to answer questions about starting a shop during the pandemic. We will have a little stall on Saturday at the Marina too, with some surprises of course! Keep an eye on the stories! #skatelove #itsreallyhappening #betterpack #heyholetsgo

Michelle, the hardworking Party Queen behind @skatelovebcn πŸ‘‘ "It is not an easy time to put together a festival, but I'm passionate and hardworking to my bones, so I keep pushing and we keep going! Memories of @skatelovebcn 2019. This year it will be the 5th edition and I cannot believe how much it has grown. I started officially the festival in 2015 and since then, I've dedicated my time, energy and creativity to this little monster. Only with the commitment of the whole organization team we can make this happen πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ€“ We are coming back with Skate Love Barcelona 2021, me and my team, pushing this, hand in hand, struggling and celebrating together every step of this challenging year. Some of them are long time supporters, some just offered their talent and knowledge in the middle of the pandemic to push this with us! 😱 How amazing this is! Shout out to Jay, Mateu, Mo, Joy, Mel, Marta, Marilisa, Kenneth, Moli, María, Susana... festival areas coordinators β™₯️ Skate Love Barcelona is different to just attending a roller rink, just signing up in workshops, it is not only meeting with other people. More than skating and dancing, it is the space we design to create wonderful memories that last forever. To make these experiences a reality, there is time and effort, costs and legal responsibilities involved. This post is dedicated to the loyal supporters who decide to join Skate Love Barcelona because they can appreciate the value, as well as the resources being required to design these 4 days. These amazing people motivate me to keep this going, so thank you! β™₯️ And after all the experience we gained throughout these years, we are ready for the next level. You will see! 🀩 And in the meantime, get ready for September 2021! πŸŽ§πŸŒ΄πŸ˜Žβ›ΈοΈπŸΊβ›±οΈπŸŒžπŸŒŽβ€οΈ Skate Love 2021 | 5 Years!
