FORMER CONNECT was never created to glorify the game. It was created to grab your attention so that I could introduce you to CONNECT REFORM. That’s always been the agenda, which is to try to help some good men get home and make the transition easier for them once they get here.

I had the privilege of being a keynote speaker in Harrisburg, PA at the State Capitol building before senators and state legislators. To affect REAL change and play in the REAL game, you have to go to where the REAL players are.

I am who I am, but I’m not who I was.🔌

Give Him His Flowers Now: Why Omillio Sparks Is Philly Royalty and Why Legends 2 Matters

Philly doesn't just make rappers. Philly makes survivors, storytellers, and soldiers. Omillio Sparks is all three.

As a core member of State Property, Omillio stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Peedi Crakk, Oschino and Chris n Neef during one of the most important eras in Philadelphia hip-hop history. While the Roc-A-Fella chain shined worldwide, it was voices like Omillio's that gave the movement its grit, its humor, and its street wisdom.

Remember the energy on State Property the movie and soundtrack? Remember verses that felt like 54th Street, like late nights on the block where loyalty was everything? That was O. He never had to be the loudest to be the most respected. Real ones know: Omillio was the glue. The authentic voice that made every posse cut feel complete.

His solo work proved it wasn't just affiliation. Projects like The Inauguration showed a pen that could go from pain to triumph in 16 bars. He carried the torch for that classic State Property sound while evolving as a man, a father, a businessman, and a mentor to the next generation.

That's why Legends 2 on December 27th at World Cafe Live isn't just another concert. It's a homecoming. It's our chance as a culture to do what we always say we should do: give our legends their flowers while they can smell them.

Hosted by @realabliva and powered by @getchaweightuptwine & @bigsev215 , Legends 2 is about respect, unity, and celebrating the architects of Philly street culture.

If Omillio's music ever got you through something, if State Property was your soundtrack, you need to be in that building.

LEGENDS 2 - TRIBUTE TO OMILLIO SPARKS
📍 World Cafe Live
📅 December 27th
🎟️ For tickets contact: getchaweightuptwine, Big Sev, Glocawear

Don't watch the clips later and wish you were there. Be there.
