Overland Airways supports the Itsekiri Global Homecoming and the 5th Coronation Anniversary of the OLU of Warri.

A proud moment of culture, tradition, and partnership, as we stood together as the Official Carrier for this historic event.

@itsekiriglobalhomecoming IGH 2026 has come and gone, and I am still basking in the success of what we built. 🌊👑

As an Itsekiri woman, this one is close to my heart. When the opportunity came to serve my King @oluofwarri and Queen @oloriatuwatseiii and lead Events, Partnerships and Sponsorship for the inaugural Itsekiri Global Homecoming, I jumped at it without a second thought. Watching this vision, half a decade in the making for His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, come to life in Warri was one of the proudest moments of my career.

Thank you to my incredible Homecoming planning committee, led by @taradurotoye and @iamademabo of the Royal Order of Iwere (ROI): @ehiademabo , @thechibie , @syvanti @iamsyvanti Uti Gabriella Ellu, @otilox, @Dola I., @omawumio @sisan.arenyeka Arenyeka, Tony Dabor, Henry Aerikowa, @shollajohnson , Chef Tuoyo and @farooqoreagba . First time idea, executed with excellence. 🙌🏾

And to my team at @alexboyoworld (ABW) and @insideglobalevents (IGE), thank you for supporting me every step of the way @joy_2_d_world @motolanidino @akinbusuyibabatopeelyjah . This one was ours too. 💛

Thank you to the brands who believed in the idea and backed us.
The numbers: 267.9M reach, 627M impressions, 98% positive sentiment. Officially the 2nd biggest cultural festival in Nigeria this year, behind only Calabar Carnival. 🏆

Already in talks with brands for IGH2027. My DM is open.

See you in 2027 👋🏾

Happy wife, happy life but @iamademabo has made too many people happy to not have a good life.

I say he’s literally gotten to the point where if you come for him, it’s not him who will answer you, the hundreds of thousands of people in the riverine creeks whose lives he has changed will come for you.

I’m so glad you are getting your flowers, take it Oko mi!

You will never catch me saying marriage is not an achievement, while I understand this is not the case for everyone, it is for me!!!

It has changed my life.

God bless you Ade!!!!!!!

Always your biggest fan 🥰

We visited the ancestral home of Warri with our first class scooter king 👑 😝 and it was important to expose Dara to the culture.

He learned how to greet the king 👑, his dad taught him a while back so it was nice to see him do it a couple times.

The king and the queen are such gracious humans and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Warri.

I have also being officially influenced by the king to ride a scooter 😝

Ogiame suo!!!!!

These past few days have been a blur!!!

Tired feet, aching backs but a full heart ♥️

5 years ago, Ogiame Atuwatse III @oluofwarri made a call and this year we responded to it.

All Itsekiris, friends of Itsekiri came back home. Life is funny, I grew up right beside the palace as a shell kid but I never imagined in a million years that I’d be back to Warri serving in this way.

I married a man whose passion for the development of Warri and its underserved communities brought me back home.

It was such a pleasure to serve on the Itsekiri global homecoming team @itsekiriglobalhomecoming led by my aunty TFD my best selling aunty as I fondly call her @taradurotoye and my darling hubby @iamademabo

I’ve seen a few posts in the last couple weeks with people mourning what used to be the boisterous oil city we all knew, I’d invite you to look for the queens speech on “beyond oil” @oloriatuwatseiii from the development forum and let it marinate but for now I’d leave you with these words.

The credit belongs to the man in the arena whose face is marred with sweat and blood doing the work not the one who’s asking how things could be better from outside the ring.

Get in the arena, boots to the ground, hands on deck, this is how we rebuild.

Not looking for where things went wrong but doing the work together.

I’m exhausted but so grateful for the privilege to serve the great kingdom of Warri.

Bring your time, bring your skills and talent, bring your resources, let’s rebuild Warri.

Lastly, one thing I’ve learned from Ade @iamademabo serve like no one is watching, don’t look to man.

God is the ultimate rewarder and he does reward.

Ogiame suooooooo baba!!!!!

Thank you lord for the next 5 years 👑👑👑
