BCF Training 21 Day Challenge

Back by popular demand.

Now that we have gotten the year off to a great start with activity, let’s look at the dietary side. I would like to invite you to join the BCF Training 21 Day Challenge for February.
The concept is simple.

21 Day Challenge - Monday, February 1 – Sunday, February 21
- Drink 1 gallon of water each day
- No alcohol
- No sugar. No food or drinks with added sugar
- No fried foods
- Eat raw green vegetables at least once a day

Tips
For the raw green vegetables, you may consider having kale, broccoli, spinach, asparagus, celery, or greens. I will personally be leaning towards kale and broccoli.
No food or drinks with added sugar. Stay away from processed sugar. Fruit is fine but not late in the day or at night.
As far as the white carbs are concerned avoid white bread, white potatoes, pasta, and white rice. Try substituting with brown rice, cauliflower, or quinoa.

Send me a message to join in, and I will add you to our private Facebook group where we share food ideas and support each other on our wellness journey.

What does wellness mean to you?
.
My vision of wellness is to be present and engaged in the steps you take daily with regard to your mental, physical, emotional, and social well-being to be the best person you can be. I am so glad I took the opportunity to further my education and training at Cornell University’s Wellness Counseling Program via eCornell. It has given me new perspectives in how I can impower people to take ownership of their well-being.

Temps are dropping fast here in New York. We’re getting into the low 30s. That means more of my workouts will be inside and at home.
.
How are you going to stay active as we approach winter🥶? Are you taking the workouts indoors? Gym? Home workouts? What’s your plan to stay healthy and active?

More balance work today! It was tough to get things going this morning after the long weekend. Too much food. But now it’s back to work and getting back on track.
