Growth in your child care business doesn’t come from having all the answers.

It comes from being willing to make decisions, learn along the way, and lead through challenges.

In my latest conversation with Ben Poswalk, we unpacked some of the biggest roadblocks we see child care owners face and what it really takes to move beyond them.

We talked about why delegation can feel so uncomfortable, how trust impacts enrollment more than most owners realize, and why avoiding difficult conversations often creates even bigger problems down the road.

One insight that really stood out to me was when Ben said, “Vulnerability is such a key component to success.”

Leadership isn’t about carrying every responsibility on your shoulders. It’s about building the right support, creating the right systems, and having the courage to address what’s holding your business back.

If you’ve been feeling stretched thin or stuck in the day-to-day, I think this episode will encourage you.

The child care owners who grow aren't necessarily the smartest in the room.

They're the ones who take action. 💡

In this episode, Jennifer Conner and Ben Poswalk dive into the habits, blind spots, and leadership decisions that separate thriving child care businesses from those that stay stuck in overwhelm.

✨ Stop trying to control everything.
✨ Build trust before enrollment.
✨ Have the hard conversations.
✨ Focus on the real problem, not just the obvious one.
✨ Remember: you don't have to carry it all alone.

"Vulnerability is such a key component to success." — Ben Poswalk

If you're ready for more freedom, stronger leadership, and a healthier business, this episode is worth a listen.

This week our spotlight shines on one of our wonderful members, Ben Poswalk!

Here’s a little to get to know Ben!

“After moving from Colorado a year and a half ago, we were worried about finding our second yoga home. Love More truly was the perfect fit for our family in the variety of classes and welcoming community that we were looking for.
My position at the Child Care Success Company is Director of Business Development. After running a child care center for 15 years, I realized that the one way I can make a greater positive impact for the children is by serving others who run child care centers.
I know how important those foundational years are and by supporting the owners of these centers the experience the children will have can truly make this world a better place with better tiny humans.
After 10 years of being resistant to trying yoga I found myself going through some big transitions in all aspects of my life. Through “gentle” encouragement from my wife and new Love More Impactor, Allison, I gave yoga a try. It provided me a space to find mental clarity in the midst of everything going on around me. While I appreciate the physical benefits from the practice, I most value how it supports me along my journey is this thing called life.

Ben is an early riser, so you can see him at the 5 & 6AM classes on the weekdays. Otherwise, he is out taking in all the adventures the Northshore has to offer!

Be sure to tell Ben hello and share the love next time you see him around!

Thank you Ben for being such a wonderful member of the Love More community. We love you so much. ❤️

If your child care business is invisible online… it might as well not exist.

In today’s world, being “good” isn’t enough - you need to be found. You need to stand out. You need to capture attention before another center does.

Whether you're struggling to fill spots or just want to grow your waitlist, visibility is the name of the game, and we’ve got the playbook.

The Big Book of Best Strategies is packed with real, proven marketing tactics used by the most successful child care owners in the country. 📕

It’s time to stop being the best-kept secret in your town. Start showing up like the leader you are. 💥
