I turn 30 today, and over the last few months I’ve been looking back at my 20s and my whole life, and just realizing how truly grateful I am that I get to do what I love for a living. Coaching lets me be a meaningful part of my athletes lives and getting to see them succeed and achieve great things both in and out of the gym is a blessing I never get tired of. I never knew I would end up here after struggling so much with school and finding my purpose, but all of those efforts made me into the man I am today. I finish my bachelors this summer and masters next summer at FAU, something I never thought I would do after dropping out at the same school 7 years ago. I owe so much to so many people that helped me get here, and I plan to continue to pay it forward the best I possibly can my entire life.

These are some of my favorite moments from meets and coaching over the past few years. I’m lucky I get to be a part of moments like these, and I can’t wait to be part of many more.
