2026 Colorado Ragnar is one to remember 🔥🔥 And def the most challenging relay race I've completed so far w/ 17,888 ft total elevation gain & 2,200 ft gain per runner!

Thank you to my incredible teammates & friends- Ariel, Doris, Carlos, Kolbe, Sam, Joel, & Captain Mando. This rewarding experience was only made possible w/ strong runners & amazing team players like you ❤️

OC Half Marathon 2026 🍊
Official time: 1:40:47

Less than two weeks post Boston, here I was about to run my 4th race with @ocmarathon (my 3rd half, the first time was the full) I kept wondering what I had in me because I had just raced Boston- because I had ran 70 miles that week after two days off- and because sometimes things are out of your control. Like getting to the start line that morning =chaotic with the buses but we jumped into the corral at 6:28am with 2 minutes to spare. And by we I mean @a.sosa_ii and I 💕

We both weren’t ready to be racing out there, but my sweetie @a.sosa_ii surprised me by running our 5th race together that morning. I had mentioned it but I swear he didn’t say yes 😭 I made my playlist with a time goal and really wanted that sub 1:40 but it just wasn’t meant to be that day. Tony had just come back from a speaking event in NV night before, drove up morning of and was not ready for a big run like this so quickly post Boston because he actually takes the recommended time off. I on the other hand had said I’d take it easy, but as soon as we started I was in race mode. He wasn’t ready for this, I was pushing regardless of how I was feeling and at mile 8 I started to feel a little funny. Legs were wobbly- tbh I felt like I was going to faint so we backed off the pace for both our sake. There was no reason to be pushing so hard & the goal was to run and finish this together which we did. Somedays aren’t so easy but we are both here for each other no matter what, love you babe ❤️

Thank you my friends @keeprunninsantaana for the cheer squad at mile 10.5! Best group out there always hyping us up! Forever my home team! And to my coach @raularcosruns / @running_lobos for being out there & letting this crazy girl keep racing. Never once has he doubted my ability as a runner 🥲

Congratulations to my sis @lightlis for getting her half marathon PR all on her own here! I always believe in you and am so proud of you ⭐️❤️ This run was for you Alex 🦋 We miss you and dedicated this one to you 🕊️
