First place at IBJJF World Masters / Jiu-Jitsu Con 2026. Biggest tournament on the planet this year, around 6,500 competitors from every corner of the world stepping on the mats to test themselves. Coming home with gold from that field is something I don’t take lightly.

None of this happens alone. Professor Felipe Abad and Professor Vitor Paschoal, everything I know on the mats traces back to you two. The hours you’ve put into my game, the corrections, the patience. This win is yours as much as mine.

CSA Blackhawk and Roots Caio Terra Academy, my home mats and my squad. Training with you every week is what made me ready for a stage like this. Traveling as a team, watching everyone compete, pushing each other between matches, that’s the part people don’t see but it’s the part that matters most.

Left everything out there. Complete exposure, nowhere to hide once that clock starts. That’s the whole point of this sport and why I keep coming back to it.

Then the moment I wasn’t expecting. Promoted to blue belt right there on the podium. Hard to put into words what that felt like standing there.

Mustafa and RJ, you two came with me to war and I won’t forget it. Having your brothers in the corner changes everything.

Gold medal, new belt, and a reminder of why I train the way I do.

Another @ibjjf Masters Worlds in the books ⭐️.

It was an amazing weekend with our @teamtakoma crew and always great catching up with old friends and making new ones. Masters Worlds gets bigger each year 🔥

Truly so proud of everyone’s hard work! Our ladies @nikothethiccathlete , @bebdinosaur & @dianabowen kicked some major booty! And Coach @nickjay_bjj always gets out there leading by example. Everyone showed so much heart and gave it their all! Amazing to watch 🥹

The weekend was filled with so many proud Coach moments. I am constantly motivated and I inspired by our team! The best thing was the love and support everyone gave each other. And I love seeing Coach Nick & Coach Niko thriving as coaches. Teamwork makes the dream work. That’s what it’s all about, the moments and memories created. This shit is hard, but doing it together makes it that much better ⭐️

Of course I would have loved to get a win, but fought til the end in my first round. It wasn’t my time, but grateful to be able to do what I love, with people I love and come out healthy! Excited to get back and keep on workin’ 😉

Thanks to our Team Takoma & @teamtruestyle families! We wouldn’t be here without all our coaches, training partners and students! To my Coach @serafinbjj and the Sloth crew for always pushing me and to my amazing husband @letterten & family for all the love and support ❤️.

It was nice to see everyone putting so much love into the food making and coming together for the game. Everything was amazing and became an event.

Thank you to @englejiujitsu for welcoming the Daredevil Jiu Jitsu in to your awesome gym

When I travel I could find the biggest name gym around to train in but my experience is if you do that you can just be a cog in the wheel

I much prefer a recommendation to a smaller gym from someone that I have trained with. This way you end up with a much more personalised experience

I am so glad @iambrendadee recommended I train at EngleJiu Jitsu while I was in Las Vegas. Both Mylene and Chris were so welcoming and gave all the Daredevil members personal input towards our games

[IBJJF Santa Cruz Open 2023 Champion]
Got to close out the featherweight master 1 division with my brother @marangoni22, who was kind enough to let me take first place as a birthday present! Thank you so much for that 🙏🏽. Felt great, had 2 matches and was able to show some nice ninja moves and couldn’t be happier with all the support I got from all the team, friends and family. Just what I asked for my birthday (WHICH IS TOMORROW OK?🤣).

Thanks to all the CTA team, specially professor @caioterrabjj for all the guidance, my @roots.unioncity fam, my wife @eualinemonteiro for all the patience and love in times where I’m not the most pleasant person 🤣. @ctrlindustries for being with me since day one in the US 👏🏽.
