Thank you Jesus for this week and these kids and serving alongside my best friends!!

God is moving in the lives of these high schoolers and I thank God every day for letting me be a part of it. This week was filled with fun, vulnerability, beauty, and a whole lot of JOY! Thank you Jesus!!

A few months to celebrate!!

I got baptized by my long time friend, mentor, and high school Young Life leader. It was such a joy to finally proclaim my faith in front of my church home and with so many people cheering me on. I got to watch many of my friends become the sweetest of parents, spend many weekends away with the people I love, enjoy small moments of rest and sunshine, and much, much more. I am beyond grateful for this little life!!

2024 wrapped !!

This year was fun and hard and all things sweet. I am praising God for all of the people and memories and places I got to experience!

13 years ago I told my mom that I wanted to play football not knowing the journey that would follow through the highs and lows and the risk I would take from leaving my friends that I played with since I started playing football and moving to summit and making new bonds with the guys and going to battle every Friday night. I’d like to say thank you to every coach that I’ve had along the way for investing in me as an athlete and a young man. To my fellow senior teammates thank you for putting in the work day in and day out and not giving up no matter the circumstances. And to the younger guys these next years are yours go take control of it and don’t take a single moment for granted. Football has been apart of my life for so long I can’t imagine not playing again but I know the lord has new plans for me. Thank you to everyone who has came to watch me play over the years it’s been one heck of a ride.

HEY HI HELLO MY BEST FRIENDS GOT MARRIED LAST NIGHT. Cheers to the freaking Magnesses. It was a long time coming 🤪 but to see how the Lord has been SO evident and faithful throughout this relationship is a special thing. Anyone who knows them and has been along for the ride will tell you how beautiful it’s been. These two are wonderful human beings who have grown so much and their marriage will be a reflection of Christ’s love for the church.
I’m beyond thankful for the community God has provided with this group. Celebrating with them is a different level of fun. In the words of @lauramicheleacuna - “being with y’all feels like home”

Bonus fun story: they showed up to the proposal spot a few minutes early and I wasn’t where I was supposed to be yet. Ash and I made direct eye contact before I quite literally DOVE behind a bush. If it wasn’t for my legit disguise (a beanie and my mask😏😂) and the fact that I told her I had to babysit, I might have ruined the whole thing🙃
