Checked out my first run club yesterday and had a great time.

I showed up not knowing anyone and people started small talk with me pretty quickly.

It was a smaller group so I was nervous about this because I did get left alone pretty quick. But thankfully this run group had sweepers.

Usually I feel so much guilt with run club sweepers because they’re having to hang around the back doing my pace when I know it’s not their usual pace- but these 2 sweepers were very kind and talkative.

All and all I’ll definitely be back- I even met someone from my hometown! 😱

I celebrated the run with cookies from @craigscookiescalgary

Such a wonderful evening celebrating @iambthiessen & @michyla as they officially became ambassadors for @lululemon on 17th!

Can’t imagine two people better suited for this role. You both mean so much to this community.

Looking forward to watching you

Thank you so much to the gals at CrossIron who take such amazing care of me and treat me to such kind experiences @syd_boisselle @xpsanantonio @kayleeeleach and huge thank you to @mkyle.brown Bethany, Diana and everyone else who made the night so special 💕❤️🫶🏻🥹

Calgary… my heart is so full. ❤️

Full of love, gratitude, joy, and a whole lot of pride. What a beautiful community we have here. Last night was something special. The energy, the smiles, the music, the people… WHAT A VIBE.

Thank you to every single person who came out and made this night what it was.

A huge thank you to Run Calgary and Garmin Canada for supporting us.

Aaron, thank you for absolutely crushing it on the bike.

Body Art Run Club, Dorothy’s Run Club, Fun Frugal Friday, Harmony Run Club, Motivated in Motion, Ukrainian Unity Runners with PRT, Embrace Every Run Club, November Project, and Sole Run Club… thank you for showing up, bringing the energy, and bringing your communities together with ours.

Brenna, you are absolutely amazing. Thank you for pacing the front and helping keep this whole thing moving.

And to all my friends and volunteers who helped make this happen… you are what makes this so special. I couldn’t do this without you. 🫶

I’m still blown away by how much love this city showed us last night.

And stay tuned… we ain’t done yet. 👀

Keep your eyes open for Run Rave pop-ups throughout the fall and winter. Calgary gets those beautiful Chinook weekends, and when the opportunity comes…

WE WILL RAVE AGAIN. ❤️

Run. Rave. Repeat.

SEPTEMBER ✨
Wrapped up the 2026 race season with 3 days out in Golden with so many friends! It was such a fun weekend I almost want to do it again next year 😂

September is also my favourite month of the year, when the days start to get a bit shorter, the air a bit cooler and everything starts to feel like it’s slowing down. I found some golden larches, a bit of snow, managed to make it to book club and the ballet. It was a good month ✨
