What a heartfelt night last night was at the Author meet of “The Love We Keep”! We had an incredible panel with the Authors getting to read a bit of their stories and answer some questions from the audience like, “what did you discover about yourself while you were writing?” and “what’s your favourite romcom?” Huge thanks to Owls Nest Books for being the perfect venue, did you know they have three book clubs a month? A mystery group, an “everything” group and an LGBTQ+ focus group! As always, a big gratitude to Trevor Carter for the pictures. This was published with my production company, Ascent Stories and I have so much awe and thanks to each one of the brave authors who wore their heart on their sleeves for their chapters. Thank you for the trust. Now available at Owl’s Nest Book Store, Amazon and Kindle Direct Publishing - get your copy of “Love We Keep” today and let it warm your heart. “The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.” — Audrey Hepburn. I truly appreciate everyone who came out, cheers! Huge thanks to Laird as well for helping with video!! If you’re looking to publish your own book and would like some support, don’t hesitate to reach out! #yycevents #calgaryauthors #lovewekeep #anthology #bookpublicist

My mind,” he said, “rebels at stagnation. Give me problems, give me work, give me the most abstruse cryptogram or the most intricate analysis, and I am in my own proper atmosphere. I can dispense then with artificial stimulants. But I abhor the dull routine of existence. I crave for mental exaltation. That is why I have chosen my own particular profession, or rather created it, for I am the only one in the world. Arthur Conan Doyle, The Sign of Four (Sherlock Holmes, #2). Thank you all to absolutely everyone who came out and helped support and celebrate us as we celebrated my darling Marlow turn 40!! A huge thanks to Tim for hooking us up with an incredible venue. The murder mystery theme was so fun and so many memories were made. Thank you, we had the best time. Here’s to community and more nights like this. My heart is so full. “Mediocrity knows nothing higher than itself; but talent instantly recognizes genius.” Arthur Conan Doyle, The Valley of Fear (Sherlock Holmes, #7). #summer2026 #40thbirthdayparty murdermystery
