#essencefest2026 was truly a 10/10! So grateful to have been here for work for a second year in a row, what a DREAM! I’m in awe of the current alignment in my life. I get to connect with incredible brands like @essencegu_ @saintandcitizen @myafricanpride @proctergamble to make connective moments like these happen in spaces that hold such great importance. 🩷

#essenceguxkgmixer was truly the highlight of the weekend, no one does it like KG!

Also soooo proud of my sister @kortlynnjenae - the queen of Essence for her incredible accomplishments this weekend and for the community she’s building through #matchasandmelanin 💚✨ first of MANY!

I’m in full trust of God’s guidance over my life because look how far he’s already taken me.

I am not gonna say anything about the monsoon we weathered out on those docks yesterday. 🌊☔️ Almost took us out but we pushed through!

What God has for you, no one can stand against. 🙏🏾✨

Less than two years ago, I took the biggest leap of my career. I walked away from a comfortable C-suite role at ESSENCE and bet on myself, launching @brandstoryarchitech with a vision to build creator-led IP, amplify Black voices, and connect creators of color with the world’s biggest brands.

Less than a year later, that leap of faith led to a development deal with the Oprah Winfrey Network @owntv .

Today, I’m incredibly proud to share that the first two series born from that vision will premiere in the coming weeks. Glow Up in 5 premieres on July 21st on @owntv and Dating Download premieres on July 29th on @owntv

I’m deeply grateful to the OWN team for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to help shape a new era of creator-led storytelling.

What makes this moment even more special is that it came full circle in Cannes, where I had the incredible honor of meeting Queen @oprah alongside one of the stars of our upcoming series, @kendragmedia. It was one of those moments that could only have been God-ordained.

This journey is proof that when you have vision, faith, and the courage to bet on yourself, doors you never imagined can open.

To every entrepreneur, dreamer, and builder: keep going. Every lesson I learned over 25 years at Disney, Maker Studios, ESSENCE, and throughout my career has been poured into BrandStory Architech. Watching those experiences blossom into something of my own has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

The best is still ahead.

Family over everything. ❤️

This has been such a beautiful season for our family—three graduations, three incredible milestones, and this weekend we celebrated my niece, Summer.

Summer graduated from the Harvey Upper School and is now Temple University bound! 🎓✨

I am so proud of the young woman you’ve become. It was such a blessing to spend this special time surrounded by family, celebrating your hard work, dedication, and bright future ahead.

Congratulations, Summer! I can’t wait to see all that you accomplish in this next chapter of life. Keep dreaming big, working hard, and walking confidently in your purpose. I know you’re bound for greatness.

We love you and are cheering you on every step of the way. ❤️🦉🎓

Have I got a great tip for you!
Watch me go from
104°F ➡️ 45°F ❄️🔥
Yes… I really do this 😅

This is the latest addition to my wellness journey—rooted in principles I’ve followed all my life, inspired by Ellen G. White 💧

Hot whirlpool (104°F) to relax and open circulation…
Then straight into the cold plunge (45–50°F) ❄️

That shock? REAL.
But so are the benefits:

✨ Boosted circulation
✨ Immune support
✨ Reduced inflammation
✨ Energy + mental clarity

I do 2–3 rounds and always end with cold—which constricts the blood vessels. That’s circulation.

⚠️ Always consult your doctor to ensure you have no underlying conditions before starting.

Simple. Natural. Powerful.
