POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My debut project, to me, is more than just another release. It is the epitome of what it means to stand together in power. Black history is power. It is living proof of our resilience, our brilliance, and our unbreakable spirit. It represents a culture rooted in tradition, wisdom, creativity, and strength, passed down through generations that refused to be erased. I refuse to let our story be washed away or rewritten. Black is beautiful. Black is intelligent. Black is innovative. We are scholars, builders, healers, artists, and leaders who have shaped the world in ways too deep to deny. Our history is not just something to remember; it is something to honor, protect, and carry forward with pride. We stand educated, powerful, and unapologetic of our past fueling our future as our voices continue to rise, lead, and inspire. ✊🏿

Happy Black History Month and thank you to all who help me put this project together 🫱🏽‍🫲🏿💜

Our ancestors did it!

In a world full of inequality, injustice, and brutality they conquered and brought us freedom!

Voting wasn’t an option for all us until 1965!
(60 years ago) Now we take it for granted.

Reading & learning was illegal for our great great great great grandparents. Now we take it for granted.

Generations have been forever traumatized and they don’t even know it.

We take the work our ancestors did for granted and it shows. A lot of it was systemic, but we have to be stronger than the system and come together just like our ancestors did before us.

It starts and ends with all of us.

S/O to everyone that brought this shoot to life!

S/O to the Black Panther Party and all of the civil rights activists that inspired us!

This weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to create a moment in history that holds immense significance for me. The Black Panther Party was established for the people, by the people, embodying resilience and a commitment to community. Their principles and values are timeless and resonate strongly today. Although our struggle continues, I say ASÈ more power to the people!📿#therevolutionwillnotbetelevised #blackpantherparty #hueypnewton #blackdontcrack #powertothepeople #bobbyseale #malcolmx #explore #feb28th #blacknationalism #blacksocialism #blacksocialism #blackselfdefense
