Fast Arrow Media was truly honored to cover the National Montford Point Marine Association 61st Annual National Convention at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport. Over 4 full incredible days, we saw excellence, tradition, and real pride on display. And when a group of Marines with this kind of legacy takes the time to thank you for being there, it hits different. That’s a moment you don’t forget. Our Broadcast Crew showed up strong, and the entire convention was spectacular from beginning to end.

One of the most powerful parts of the week was being in the room with the Original Montford Point Marines who were in attendance, including one Original Montford Point Marine celebrating his 102nd birthday. We’ve often heard about the Buffalo Soldiers and the Tuskegee Airmen, but I implore you to look up their history and help honor their legacy. We also captured several standout moments, including Maryland Delegate Jamila J. Woods addressing the General Session of the NMPMA, the Montford Point Marine Congressional Gold Medal Presentation featuring guest speaker Lieutenant General United States Marine Corps
Deputy Commandant for Information Melvin “Jerry” Carter, and the Presidents Reception & National Queen Coronation hosted by National President Ronald C. Johnson — a beautiful night celebrating leadership, legacy, and community.

We were also proud to cover the 61st Convention Awards Banquet on Saturday, featuring guest speaker Representative Kweisi Mfume (U.S. Congressman, Maryland’s 7th District). Congressman Mfume has spent decades in public service and civil rights leadership, including serving in Congress and leading the NAACP as President and CEO. Today, he continues to be a strong voice for Maryland families and communities nationwide.

Most of all, we want to say THANK YOU to Chapter 17 President Master Sgt. O’Neal Johnson, National Director Johnny Higdon, and National Montford Point Marine Association President Ronald C. Johnson for allowing Fast Arrow Media the honor of serving and documenting this prestigious piece of American History.

Fast Arrow Media is stepping up our game and stepping into a more premium season.

We just added two new Sony Cinema cameras to the lineup, and the difference is immediate: cleaner images, more control, and a look that feels truly cinematic. Paired with Sony G and Sigma Art glass, this setup is built for the kind of detail you can feel on screen, whether we’re crafting TV commercials, TV Shows, Documentaries, Interviews or capturing upscale weddings with that timeless, film-level finish.

What makes it even better is how smooth the workflow has become. Tilta Mirage Matte Boxes keep the image polished, Teradek wireless keeps the set moving, and the newly released Synco Master communication headsets keep the team locked in. Power is handled with SmallRig X99 V-mount batteries, and the Kondor Blue TalonXL handle with built-in camera control helps us stay fast and precise when the moment matters.

And for monitoring, we’re covered in any environment. The Osee G7 Pro 7” monitor with camera control and 3000 nits of brightness cuts through daylight with ease, and the Portkeys 7” HDMI/SDI high-bright monitor with wireless camera control makes it simple to keep eyes on the shot without slowing production down.

I’m grateful for the brands building tools that help creators deliver at a higher level. If you’re about performance, reliability, and cinematic results in the real world, I’m always open to collaborations that feel natural and story-first.

Beach & Brunch 2 in Virginia Beach, Virginia was a whole vibe. Sun, sand, and a crew of talented models coming together for personal shoots, group photos, and real connection. This is what tasteful modeling looks like: confidence, class, and positive energy in every frame.

After the beach, we wrapped it up the right way with brunch and good conversation. Grateful for everyone who showed up ready to create, support each other, and represent the culture the right way.

Virginia Beach, thank you for the love.

The Legendary Montford Point Marines - The First Black Marines are coming to Baltimore!

The Original Montford Point Marines were the first African Americans to serve in the United States Marine Corps, breaking barriers during World War II. Trained at Montford Point, North Carolina, between 1942 and 1949, these courageous men paved the way for greater diversity and inclusion in the military. Their dedication, resilience, and patriotism not only helped shape the Marine Corps but also contributed to the broader fight for civil rights in America. Today, we honor and remember their legacy as true trailblazers in our nation’s history.
