Obsessed with this soft S-wave I created using the @ghdhairpro @ghdhair Chronos Max straighteners, finished with @hairbysammcknight Cool Girl Texture Spray for that effortless texture 🤍

For those of you who asked about the bronze paper & the pastels I used to draw my boys, here’s the breakdown:

Canson textured paper in ‘Bronze’
Stabilo pastels in chalk, charcoal & burnt umber to make the base, hair & skin colour & highlights in chalk
Caran d’Ache black for detail around the eyes, nose & mouth
Caran d’Ache terracotta for blush & lips & some warmth on the forehead.
I last drew Ella 10 years ago & she gets more beautiful with every year. Thank you @iamella for letting me share your stunning face

A glorious day at @nevillholtfestival watching @carl_ross_ work his culinary magic with Turnip the Heat demonstration in the Kitchen Gardens 🔥🥕The magnificent Kiftsgate roses were putting on a performance worthy of the opera, while Nigel Hall tied our brains in knots and, thanks to David Shrigley, we even managed to locate the tree. ➡️🌳

A generous helping of beautiful gardens, extraordinary sculpture, delicious food, plenty of laughter and the company of my favourite people @iamella @carl_ross_ Proof that the finest ingredients in life are family, friends, art, gardens and a healthy sense of humour.

Not a bad recipe for a perfect summer’s day.
