The BTS girl became a director just so that she could shoot and edit her own directorial BTS. So well, to all future hires, with my directorial vision you also get an ‘behind the scenes’ with insight that no one else can direct and edit. I don’t even charge extra for this, it’s my social service.

Cannes 2026: A masterclass in storytelling, collaboration, and the business of cinema. 🎬✨

Grateful for the connections made, the deals structured, and the memories shared on the Croisette. The energy of this festival is unmatched, but the real work—bringing impactful stories to life—is just getting started. Till next time 🇫🇷✨🌴

“Dhoop Nimboo” — our December pickle — is an ode to Hyderabad, the birthplace of Shabana Azmi.

This heirloom recipe was shared with me by Fauzia Begum, who has served generations of @iamfaraz’s family.

It is a pickle of patience: whole lemons rubbed with salt, placed in glass jars, and left in the sun for 3 to 4 weeks until they soften, mellow, and deepen in flavor.

A quiet, time-honored ritual of Hyderabadi homes, carried forward in our kitchen.
