Commuters frequently moved through public spaces absorbed in private bubbles, missing the potential warmth of shared companionship. Draftfcb+Ulka built the film around a rhythmic musical chain reaction on a passenger train, where spontaneous vocal beats gradually united a silent carriage into an infectious ensemble. The concept positioned the brand as a joyful catalyst that turned everyday transit into communal celebration. Her Story Matters—The Change We Seek in India Advertising with Population First (Laadli) The stories we see in the media often have the power to foster change in the world. That’s why, at the inaugural Good Ads Matter Ad Festival 2026, we were honoured to spotlight a cause we hold very close to our hearts: the fair and equal representation of women in Indian advertising—the drive to portray women through a more powerful lens, placing them at the centre of the narrative rather than on the sidelines. We were joined by Dr A. L. Clinic Plus’s Daughters’ Day ad builds its impact around a moment that changes how we see a mother-daughter relationship. A daughter notices the struggles her mother has been silently carrying and helps her realise that she doesn’t have to keep adjusting at the cost of her own happiness. What makes the story moving is the reversal: the daughter her mother raised to be strong becomes the person who gives her mother the courage to begin again. With “Maa ki Majboori Nahi, Beti Hoti Hai Maa ki Mazbooti,” the campaign takes its familiar #MeriBetiStrong thought in a new direction. The film lets the relationship carry the message, making its emotional turn feel personal rather than preachy. It’s a reminder of how thoughtful writing and storytelling can make a brand message resonate beyond the screen.
