POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
One year ago today, we threw the first Dil Se Rave in our friendsโ€™ backyard. โค๏ธ

For the longest time, we thought we were the weird ones for loving Bollywood and EDM equally. Ravers didnโ€™t really want Bollywood at their raves, and Bollywood crowds could only take so much untz untz untz ๐Ÿ˜‚

But to us, that strange combination made perfect sense. And it was never just the music. We loved what raving felt like. Walking into a room of strangers, dancing however the fuck you want, everyone choosing joy and acceptance for a few hours. And thatโ€™s we wanted to build.

We shared the idea with our friends, and they talked us into actually doing it.

The response we got that night caught us completely off guard. The messages about how free people felt, how much they connected with the music, how the whole thing just felt like them.

All we could think was:

FUCK. WEโ€™RE NOT THE ONLY ONES.

That feeling of feeling seen, of being accepted, of being in a small pocket of love and joy.

That feeling became Dil Se Rave.

We lucked out cuz our friends believed in this weird little idea even more than us. They brought things to DSR we could never have imagined and did things we simply couldnโ€™t have done ourselves. And over this past year, DSR made us meet some beautiful creative souls weโ€™re now lucky enough to call our friends.

Exactly one year after that backyard, we found ourselves hosting Dil Se Rave 2,500 miles away in New York City, in a room full of people weโ€™d never met before.

Watching their faces then and reading the messages weโ€™ve gotten since...we got the same feeling we had that first night in the backyard.

FUCK. YOU GET IT TOO. ๐Ÿฅน

In 12 months, that backyard party has become 12 events, some of them at venues we used to dream about playing at, and now a four-city tour.

But we started DSR just because we wanted to build something we wished existed. And that is the vision.

To keep going until every last person who could walk into a Dil Se Rave and feel that same sense of belonging, that same โ€œholy shit, these are my peopleโ€, gets to feel it.

Because every time one more of you finds us, we get to feel it too.

Thank you, Dil Se โค๏ธ

โ€‹3/14/26 @ The Midway. Weโ€™re still processing this oneโœจ

๐Ÿ“ธ: @nadishsood and @edgarmcaptures

โ€‹This was probably the most nervous weโ€™ve been before a DSR. Bringing the @DhoompresentsSF and @dilserave families together felt like a huge responsibility, and we weren't sure how people would react to our weird concoction of music. But seeing the place vibing, and seeing so many of you connect with our sound for the first time, it was way better than anything we could have imagined.

โ€‹And then thereโ€™s our village. Our friends literally spent their day decorating the friggin Midway just because that's how passionate they are and that's how much love they have to give. I mean, even Midway doesn't go this hard on decor for their own nights, but here we were, acting like it was a house party. To have found people who fuel our joy and motivation like this has been the biggest blessing of our life.ย

Deeply grateful for everyone who showed up. โ€‹Weโ€™re still learning every day. If you have any feedback or thoughts on how the night felt for you, please leave a comment or DM us. We can't wait to share what we are planning for the next one. We promise to keep it intentional, always. ๐Ÿซถ
