POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

SORRY IM NOT DONE POSTING MY FRIENDDDSSSSS.
This is veryyyy loosely ordered through the year but I’m so tickled (as my mom used to say) by the memories I’m looking back; and I’m feelin so hella thankful for you all. Whether we laughed for an exciting night somewhere else on the globe or we fell asleep at home watching movies together on countless weekday nights, my loves you are each why my year was good. I’m enriched and engaged and formed by what I learn from you. I don’t want to live any other way but surrounded.

I wanna also be real with yall: being this surrounded as a single professional in her thirties is NOT EASY. All of my friends are busy, everyone’s on their own paths, we’re not in school or offices where we’re forced to be together. This is active, intense prioritization. This is, hey I’m tired tonight but this is the only free time we both have. This is; hey, I’m gonna be in your city for a few days, can you find a moment to connect? This is, heyyyy I’m feeling vulnerable and lonely tonight, can I join whatever you’re doing? In LA this is frequently, I know your thing is an hour away but I wanna support you! This is consistent reaching out and caring, on both sides. It’s work, but without the success of this kind of work, what else matters?

I was thrilled to kick off UN Week by co-hosting a session with Project Everyone (@theglobalgoals) and @salesforce on the Future of Work. Together with young changemakers and senior leaders, we asked a central question: how might we shape the future of work in a time of unprecedented change?

During the interactive session, we covered a range of topics from AI’s role in policy and practice, to reimagining leadership across generations, and ensuring equity and access remain at the center.

The session affirmed that panels and one-way conversations with young people are not enough. That’s why, it was designed to foster intergenerational co-creation by passing the pen to young leaders so they could shape the future of work in real time alongside decision-makers.

It was a privilege to learn from Robin Washington, Salesforce’s President and Chief Operating and Financial Officer, and Polly Sumner, Salesforce’s Chief Adoption Officer, who brought candor and clarity about how emerging and established leaders can meet this moment.

I’m equally grateful for the lightning talks from @sneha.revanur (Encode), Itai Asseo (Salesforce), @ziadahmed (@unitedtalent + @zcon.xyz), and Vicki Zubovic (@khanacademy), whose insights grounded the conversation and sparked new solutions.

Thank you to my co-host Jack and the brilliant Project Everyone team (Nour, Kinvara, Allison) for producing such an impactful gathering and to Salesforce for modelling what intergenerational collaboration can look like at the highest levels.

Most of all, thank you to our amazing participants who leaned in with energy, creativity, and bold ideas about what matters most to you, your communities, and your future.

The future of work is bright, and it starts with all of us 💖🫶🏾

My dear friend and kuya, JC, survived a hit-and-run car accident last week and is beginning a long journey of recovery. While he recovers from his injuries, please consider donating whatever you can to his GoFundMe linked in my story for necessities like rent, transportation, and lost wages.

If you are in the LA area and wish to further help, the perpetrator of the hit-and-run has still not been found. Message @iamjcarce for additional information on canvassing door to door in Westwood to find the driver at fault for the accident.

JC is the textbook definition of resilience— he is a formerly homeless, proudly Filipino-American social impact entrepreneur who has dedicated his life and career to climate justice, immigrant rights, and uplifting all communities in the city Los Angeles. I know that he will come back from this accident stronger, especially with our support and bayanihan spirit 🤍

Thank you to everyone who attended our inaugural 2025 Youth Climate Summit this past weekend! 💫🌎

Whether you joined as a panelist, speaker, volunteer, partner, or participant — your presence, energy, and voice helped make this gathering a powerful launchpad for youth-led climate solutions in LA.

🌟 Key Highlights:
* Over 50 participants engaged across policy, culture, and community-driven climate programming
* Youth and intergenerational teams generated dozens of recommendations for a more sustainable and equitable LA28
* LA is focused on making sustainable transportation more accessible along with other sustainability goals like green building and green jobs
* Youth in LA and across the country are coming together to collaborate to make positives changes to their future
* There is a focus on providing healthy, plant based meals to communities in LA, primarily to low income neighborhoods and children
* Youth have opportunities to be part of legislative action in the city and county of LA through platforms like the LA City Youth Council and the Youth Climate Commission
* The City Youth Council’s LA28 Capstone group is working on a legislative motion to drive sustainability ahead of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games; specifically, across transportation, production, and communication.

Special thank you to @lacityyouth for hosting us at their annual Youth Expo, @lattc for their wonderful space, and @liquiddeath for providing us with beverages. 🌊

If you’re interested in helping plan or produce the next Youth Climate Summit — let us know! 🤍🗣️ We’ll be organizing a community interest meeting later this year.

Hey, I’m JC 👋🏽
(Short for Jose Cristoff Feliciano Arce - but we’re friends now, so JC works just fine 😄)

I’m a formerly homeless, first-gen, queer Filipino-American turned social entrepreneur, community leader, (somewhat) professional yapper, and climate advocate. Basically, I build cool sh*t that makes the world better - and more just, joyful, and deeply human.

🌀 Co-Founder & Co-Executive Director of @collidescopefoundation - helping impact leaders scale bold ideas for good
🌴 Co-Founder of @laclimateweek - LA’s biggest week for climate, culture, and community
🗳️ Youth Representative for LA’s Council District 10 - amplifying young voices at City Hall and driving sustainability for LA28
🎮 Built a Techstars-backed game studio
🍽️ Grew a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant
📈 Partner at Spain’s largest Gen-Z-led equity fund
📰 Featured by TIME, Forbes Impact, People Mag, LA Times & more

But titles don’t tell the whole story - I’m also someone who:
🌿 Finds peace in hikes, runs, and chasing beautiful views
🍲 Cooks with love as a way to show my love for others
🎨 Makes art, writes poetry, and journals through the highs and lows
🎤 Loves dancing, karaoke, and spontaneous nights with chosen family
🎮 Unwinds with video games
✈️ Feels most alive while exploring the world
💬 And lives for deep, creative conversations with friends - the kind that spiral into reflections on healing, community, connection, and what it means to belong

Stick around for:
🌍 Climate, advocacy & social commentary
🎨 Art, poetry, & soft reflection
📣 Founder chaos + impact behind the scenes
🍜 Food, friendship, & full-heart living
💥 Big dreams & even bigger impact

@hollywoodclimatesummit was liiit!! So many climate stars ⭐️ in the building. Everyone working to get us off fossil fuels and solve the climate crisis together 🤗 🌍

I love how this summit intersects culture and climate, and focuses on driving messaging into storytelling in the entertainment space. It’s a strategy that will work to educate people at scale, and get us to a climate policy tipping point faster.

Thank you to The Academy… (for hosting us in Beverly Hills), and to @thealword @allisonbegalman and @heatherfipps for founding an awesome event! 🙏

Keep the momentum going strong y’all!!
