I grouped a few different experiences from this decade since they all took place at my alma mater, George Mason University, (GMU). Before graduating, I was able to help start an organization called MyNatural, where I would later come back to events they held after I graduated. . One of them being a self-image event in #2016 where I spoke to the ladies of @mynaturalgmu on self-worth and loving themselves. . In #2017, thanks to the members of the Black Student Alliance org, @bsa_gmu, I was able to volunteer and style models' hair for their "Dawn to Dusk" Fashion Show which was such a great experience! . And in #2018, thanks to @siimplyjess, I participated on a panel focusing on entrepreneurs of color at my alma mater, George Mason. I remember at the end of the discussion, one of the @lta_deltaepsilon members came up to me and said, “Thank you so much...I really enjoyed listening to you! Can I give you a hug?” And of course I hugged her because I’m a hugger too! That moment inspired me just as much as it may have inspired her and in that moment, I learned how important it is to share my journey with others...I’ll never know who may be inspired by my story. . . . . #myhaircrush #naturalhair #fashionshow #trialsntresses #naturallyshesdope #teamnatural #dmvbraids #dmvnaturalhairstyles #dmvhair #hairbyjmsaff #juscallmesaff #beautyblogger #beauty #blackhairmag #voiceofhair #blackgirlmagic #feedinbraids #feedingbraids #cornrows #jmsaff #blackisbeautiful #dmvfashionshow #gmu #entrepreneur
