Let’s introduce @iamjosephsolomon he’s one of them ones in the city. He is a shooter who you do not want to get hot. You’ll look up and he’s up by a lot simply from shooting. He also can create his own shot and attack down hill. He’s a force to recon with.

🏀 ATLANTA TAKEOVER SURVIVES LATE RALLY, OPENS MBL SEASON 4 WITH 128–125 WIN

ATLANTA — Atlanta Takeover opened its fourth season in the Maximum Basketball League with a statement victory, holding off a furious late rally from Team Sacrifice to secure a 128–125 season-opening win.

For most of the night, Takeover looked firmly in control. Atlanta entered the fourth quarter with a commanding 97–76 advantage, getting production throughout the lineup and setting the tone on both ends of the floor.

But Team Sacrifice refused to go quietly.

With just 58 seconds remaining, Atlanta still held a 125–115 lead. Sacrifice then caught fire from beyond the arc, knocking down several huge three-pointers and cutting the deficit to just two. With the game suddenly hanging in the balance, Takeover stayed composed and converted critical free throws down the stretch to close it out.

⭐ TAKEOVER TOP PERFORMERS

Omar Touray led the offense with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, while Barron Bowie Jr. delivered an all-around performance with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Joseph Solomon added 20 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals.

Newcomer Malik Brevard made his presence felt immediately, finishing with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks in his Takeover debut.

The Player of the Game, however, was Gideon Broni, who impacted the game on both ends with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 blocks.

Atlanta’s bench proved just as important.

Jawara Solomon provided 12 points, Amir Devone contributed 10 points and 2 blocks, while Kameron Daniels brought his trademark defensive energy with 5 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Daniels continued to show why he’s an anchor defensively, creating pressure and providing a spark whenever Takeover needed it.

KJ McGee, Jalen King and Rico Rowser also provided valuable minutes as Atlanta used a true total-team effort to finish the job.

🏀 THE STAGE IS SET. SEASON 4 IS HERE.

The Atlanta Takeover is back for its 4th season in the Maximum Basketball League — and this year, the expectations have changed.

We’re no longer the new team trying to find our place.

We know who we are.

A battle-tested roster.
A demanding road schedule.
Big-time matchups in Atlanta.
New cities. New opponents. Familiar rivals.

From Atlanta to New York. Houston to Nashville. Every stop brings another opportunity to make a statement.

The standard is higher.
The target is bigger.
And the mission is clear.

🏆 COMPETE FOR A CHAMPIONSHIP.

This season, expect intensity. Expect adversity. Expect big moments.

Most importantly…

EXPECT THE TAKEOVER.

AEBL FINAL 4 HIGHLIGHTS 🏀🔥

One last look at our Final 4 battle.

What a season for the Atlanta TakeOver. In our first year in the AEBL, we competed, earned our respect, knocked off the defending champs and made a run to the FINAL 4.

We didn’t finish where we wanted, but we proved that WE BELONG.

Thank you to every player who put on that TakeOver uniform, our coaches, supporters and everybody who rocked with us all summer.

Great season. Great memories. More history to make.

ATLANTA TAKEOVER 🐺
ONE PACK. ONE GOAL.
THE TAKEOVER CONTINUES.

GRATEFUL FOR THE JOURNEY.

As our first year in the AEBL comes to a close, I’m simply thankful for the opportunity and grateful for every player who put on an Atlanta TakeOver uniform and represented this organization.

Every player who stepped on that floor contributed to this journey in some way. Your time, commitment, sacrifice, and belief in what we’re building will always be appreciated.

Our first season gave us memories, lessons, adversity, growth, and moments that helped shape who we are as an organization.

To the AEBL, thank you for giving Atlanta TakeOver the opportunity to compete on this stage.

And to our players — thank you for representing the name across your chest.

Year One is in the books, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the journey.
