✨ Hey beauties ✨

Today I want to talk about rose quartz facial rollers, and all of the healing properties they hold.

• A rose quartz facial roller will typically come with dual ends. The larger end is for use all over the face, while the smaller end can be used around the delicate eye area to help soothe and calm. Rolling the smaller end under the eye is thought to reduce the appearance of puffiness, helping you achieve a more refreshed and awake look.

• This cooling effect of gliding the rose quartz stone on your face is also known to help calm skin (much like an ice cube would) and reduce the look of redness.

• Finally, a rose quartz facial roller can potentially help improve the appearance of overall tone and elasticity because of the way it massages your skin as you slide it over your face. (Many skincare experts believe skin massage can help with the look of elasticity by helping improve circulation.) This in turn helps with better product absorption of following skincare treatments. The idea is if you apply, say, a serum on your skin using a facial roller rather than using your fingers, the topicals are getting pushed in more deeply and for longer. Overall, this use of a crystal roller can potentially help promote healthier, more radiant and firmer skin.

Rose Quartz Facial Roller Tips

• Refrigerate the roller overnight and use first thing in the morning to combat puffiness.

• Apply a dime-sized amount of serum or quarter-sized amount of moisturizer onto the roller and massage from the center of your face moving outward toward the ears and down toward the jawline until fully applied. (Some experts recommend using it for five minutes twice a day to simply massage your face as well.)

• “Recharge” the crystal in sunlight or moonlight by placing it in an area where the sunlight or moonlight will touch it directly. Some devotees believe this helps the crystal keep its energy.

• Carefully wash your facial roller with soap and water daily to prevent transfer of bacteria onto skin.
