Happy 45th Birthday to my beautiful Liane ❤️

I am so proud of the woman you are—strong, brilliant, and even wiser at 45. Watching you grow, thrive, and shine is such a blessing. I’m grateful beyond words to celebrate this milestone by your side. Love you to pieces and looking forward to all the amazing memories still to come.

Happy Birthday, my love. 🥂✨❤️

Where do I even begin? This birthday hit different.

Another year around the sun, trying to ease into the season without falling apart. It’s my first birthday and holiday without hearing my sister say, “Mattis, it’s your birthday!” and that silence really stings.

But my people held me up.
Thank you for every text, call, and love gift — you showed up right when I needed it most. 🤎

To the Jourdain family — your private vineyard and cottage were a dream. Then Asheville with Sara and Raj… the Château in Black Mountain was everything, and the tours were unforgettable — Biltmore, the Asheville walking tour, and even a tour of King Tutankhamun’s tombs.

Aja — you really understood the assignment. You didn’t just show up, you showed out. That table was a whole masterpiece. Your kindness, time, and talent carried me. I’ll treasure our laughs forever, sister cousin.

Liane, Tiesha, and Cheri — thank you for choosing to spend your time with me. Tai would’ve wanted me to celebrate, even though it’s been so hard without her. Your presence meant more than any gift.

LaSharne and The Zalad Bar — you catered your heart out. You did the most for me and I loved every minute. A time was definitely had.

Grief and gratitude are holding hands over here… and somehow, we’re still celebrating. 💫

Grand Bohemian staycation — unreal.

The artwork felt like a private gallery.
Dinner and cocktails? Flawless.
Bar vibes and service: 10/10

Left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning my next visit. @grandbohemiancharlotte , you outdid yourself.
