We sat down with @iamOutlandish and got the stories behind her insane visuals for recent singles, “High & Then” and “IDK?”

She shared her perspectives on being a self-starter and creative powerhouse since age 15.

I am so behind on posting absolutely anything this year and it’s not because the stuff I have produced isn’t completely AWESOME 🙌🏻 (but mostly because life has been life-ing and social media decidedly isn’t really my thing anymore!)

Shannon, AKA Outlandish, came to me earlier in the year because she needed a music video to accompany a new song she was producing herself and due to be released later in 2026. We got her booked in and started making plans to bring Shannon’s vision to life.

As we were focusing mostly on video content we shot everything on a Go Pro Hero 11 at 120fps meaning the footage could be slowed right down to achieve that dreamlike movement under water. I lit the shots with two battery powered LED lights mounted on a frame with the Go Pro and we injected a bit of light from a strobe on poolside for the imagery.

Shannon only wanted RAW files provided so she could make the full music video herself and so if you swipe right you’ll see the original raw footage, I can’t and won’t take any credit for what Shannon produced in the Final Cut - check her page out on IG @iamoutlandish to see her work ❤️

As usual I edited the portraits in my fine art style and I just think they’re incredible. When Shannon told me had around 28 inches of hair to play with she wasn’t kidding 😅

In June I had also attended a perfectly timed workshop with Emma Critchley which really dug into choreography for camera underwater and it is something I am hoping to start exploring more of as I develop my own creative practice.

A huge shout out to Outlandish - you’re one in a million and you’re going to do great things ✨

What a weekend ✨

A huge thank you to @maidstonetattooextravaganza for having us and everyone behind the scenes making it run so smoothly.

Thank you to everyone who came and grabbed a sticker, business card, bought a tee & got a tooth gem ✨

Thank you to all the artists, piercers and stall holders that I met for being so lovely!
It was great to catch up with you all & meet so many of you.

Thanks for the being the best booth neighbours @blackriverrainham & @mikefarkertattoo
Couldn’t have asked better people to work alongside during the chaos!

And finally, thank you to my @shipwreckedbones_ for keeping me sane on such a crazy weekend ✨

It was wild, can’t wait for next year ❣️
