Unapologetically wise.
Unapologetically gray.
And I’m entering my Silver Fox era. 🩶

The closer I get to 60, the more I appreciate what these silver strands actually represent. Wisdom. Experience. Growth.

I’ve been inspired by the fabulous @xojalonda who proves that gray can be edgy, sexy and fly.

And Ms. Pearl? @iampearlmackey, she understood the assignment with this new cut. She’s been encouraging me on this gray-hair journey, and I’m loving where we’re going.

Almost 60. Still evolving. Still having fun with my look. And the husband likes it too…so there’s that. 😍😋😘

And NO @vblue12 this is NOT A “WIG”. It’s all mine🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Wisdom looks good on me. 🩶

Yesterday was everything I hoped it would be and more. 🎓❤️

Thank you to every family member, friend, neighbor, and loved one who came out to celebrate the girls. Your presence, thoughtful gifts, kind words, hugs, and support meant so much to all of us.

To everyone who couldn’t make it but still sent love and gifts, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed.

Watching the girls reach these milestones surrounded by so much love reminded me how blessed we truly are. Thank you all for helping make the last two months unforgettable!💕✨

After more than 15 years with locs, transitioning back to relaxed hair and maintaining it has been quite the journey. 🫤

So… with no further ado, I decided to do a thing today. In the words of O.T. Genasis and Young Dolph …

Chapter 54

I made it. Praise God. [insert shout here] Whewwwwwww. 2025 was a hard year for a lot of people. In many ways for me it was devastating. Many things fell apart.

A lot of what I’ve worked for during my corporate career is gone. I have to start over.

Many things fell apart. Relationships. Alliances. Job Opportunities. Many closed doors. Lots of tears. A few days where I doubled checked with the Holy Ghost to make sure I was still in my right mind because it seemed like the walls were closing in and my chest was hurting. Whew.

Many things fell apart.

After losing my job summer 2024, this year, I spent my first full year self-employed and chiiiiiillllle the math ain’t math. A lot wins but some major losses. Like I said many things fell apart. I’ve depended on people - not just any people …my family, my PHAMILY, friends, my church, my music community in ways I’ve never depended on anyone before. You all came through every single time. I love you and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Like I said many things fell apart but all praised be to God.

I WAS NOT ONE OF THEM. Still here and still fine (inside joke) LOLOL.

I’m kicking off 2026 wif my burrrrffffdayyyy. Aye. If you want to send a birthday love offering do it:
