⚡WHAT A WEEKEND AT DARK & STORMY FILM FESTIVAL! ⚡ We’re beyond thrilled to share that NIGHT FEEDS took home: 🏆 BEST OF FEST (shared with ROOMERS, directed by @emmanuelrodriguezart) 🏆 BEST ACTRESS for May Calamawy. In addition to our nomination for BEST DREAD! We’re also honored to share the Jeremiah Kipp Memorial Award with THE PEARLCOMB, directed by @ali_cook. This award carries special meaning. Jeremiah Kipp, who served on the festival jury, chose NIGHT FEEDS and THE PEARLCOMB as his favorite films. We were deeply saddened to learn of his passing last Friday. A filmmaker whose latest work included THE MORTUARY ASSISTANT, Jeremiah leaves behind a meaningful legacy in the horror community. We’re incredibly honored to have been among the films he championed, and we send our heartfelt condolences to his loved ones. 🕯️ A HUGE thank you to Jessica, Jake, the entire @DarkAndStormyFF team and volunteers, the incredible juries— the late @jeremiah.kipp, @daniel.delpurgatorio, and @thebrandonchristensen, the Ocean Shores community, our fellow filmmakers, and all the audiences who gave NIGHT FEEDS such a warm welcome! ❤️ Special thanks to the festival for its incredible hospitality and generosity, including providing lodging and an airport shuttle. And thanks to Jeff and Jen for the unforgettable boat ride! 🚤🌊 What a memorable inaugural festival! We’re so grateful to have been part of it and hope to be back! ❤️ ⚡ 2027 submissions open on October 31st!
