Today’s Sovereign Sunday Spotlight is none other then our Editor In Chief @reba_simpson

Meet Rebecca, a Senior majoring in Media Studies. She joined Sovereign because she saw an organization for black people that didn't have a lot of exposure and wanted to join and be a helping hand.
Some of her hobbies include singing, writing and playing instruments.
1 fun fact about Rebecca is that she has a lifestyle and music blog rebasimpson.com.
When asked what Sovereign means to her she said “Sovereign Magazine is a multicultural magazine on a predominantly white campus. We stand for the people of color on campus who are not seen or heard by their peers, professors, advisors, etc. We want to highlight our creativity, ambition, and success.”
Her career goal is to be an A&R/Talent agent and after graduating she plans to work in the media/music industry as an artist and repertoire coordinator.
Keep working hard and we love having you on the team 💜
