My summer 2024 performance workshop at @citydancelive show this year!

Said this many times at the shows already, thank you to my students for trusting me to teach them a production, and lead with as much love as I could provide. All I only hope is that people who come to me for dance are happy and connect with dance deeper. I look forward to teach a performance workshop again in the far future 💪❤️

Used to look back at my life and thought of the meanest things to say about my past, for the things I could not achieve.

After reflections, I am so grateful today, that somehow, someone like me would even have access to so many talented dancers that are so fun to work with. Something I thought being affiliated with popular people or big dance orgs would be the only way to achieve. And the wildest part is, people let me go crazy on the way I create, stage, and perform.

Yall have no idea how much trust you need to let directors make stuff on spot and finish a set within 1 session. I am not even trying to compliment myself, Im saying its out of my mind to know people could have that much faith in the process.

So, to my performers last weekend (my PW, STRESS project, and everybody), amazing work to you all, I hope you give yourself some flowers, you definitely inspired people at the shows! Special shoutout to @eddiemina for being the best 🧠 to work with! 🧙‍♂️🧙‍♂

I just want to thank you to so so many people Ive come across in my life. From every single student who take/took my dance classes, choreographers who collaborated with me, dance orgs who allowed me to perform regardless of my lack of dance resume, and the studios who let me teach.

I never imagined this is where my dance journey was going to look like. I thought I was going to audition and rehearse for competitions and thats where my dance was gonna end, instead I got to teach, share, collaborate, and uplift people.

So again, thank you to YOU if you know what you do for me, you know. You gave me a dance life I never thought I would have.

this was what an old friend told me, that stuck with me for long time until today, and I feel close to it last weekend.

@citydancelive was the first studio that invited me to teach regularly, @sandycitydance and @instajylly saw a superpower in me, thank you to you two! and then it led me to being invited to teach else where.

I will resume to teaching dance soon after well rest. Excited to continue helping people navigate through dance.
