⚠️Long post alert⚠️ ● We wanted to take a minute and thank everybody that came to the 1st edition of DYFR ● We also wanted to thank the venue @esplanade.louvain for trusting us not knowing wo we were ● The DJs @iamshashu, @mr.piyou @poiriersound @djblaster who graced us with their talent all night, some until 3am!! ● The restaurants @deelicious_bistro_traiteur and @leuptownmtl that served excellent food throughout the night ● @s.o.a.p_enterprise we will see you soon. Your work giving a new life to sneakers is amazing and a few people were able to witness it ● To the dance crews that came over; this is in good part for you. @phopho44rastagyal , @mtl_dancehallsessions @taniaparisfit @crescendo_izafamily @nickblackeagle @gaspesian_urbanbohemian to name just a few. Hopefully you were able to get a glimpse of the vision. We worked really hard to bring this event to fruition and everything you do to elevate dancing in Montreal motivates us. Yesterday we saw stars in a few kids eyes and that alone brings us joy. One of our objectives was to give a middle finger to the inflation by keeping the price point as low as we could which we did. Events in Montreal are now easily going for 30$ and 40$. This is not a jab at other promoters or events. The reality of inflation is the same for everyone and they also have expenses to pay. We just wanted to bring something of quality at a price level that everybody could afford. On this note we say to you more is coming and better. A few lessons were learned giving birth to DYFR. We got great feedback from people enjoying their night but being hard on ourselves we also know how much more we can provide. For now, we're just exhausted and will need a moment to recuperate 😅
