THE GIDI COWBOY IN MOTION

This outfit is a striking fusion of Aso Oke (traditional hand-woven Nigerian cloth) and rugged Texan workwear. The combination of the mandarin collar, raw denim textures, upcycled shoelace fringes and sunset-hued stripes creates a unique “Frontier” aesthetic that bridges two worlds.

THE UNIVERSAL BOUBOU

The Bubu (often spelled Boubou) is a classic, flowing garment with deep roots in West Africa. While the term “Bubu” is widely used in Nigeria and internationally, the outfit goes by several different names depending on the country, language, and specific style.

Senegal calls it the Mbubb ,Grand boubou
Nigeria Youruba calls it Agbada ,Bubu
Nigeria Hausa calls it Babban Riga
Mali / Guinea calls it Bazin Boubou
Morocco calls it Kaftan ,Djellaba
Mauritania calls it Darra’a

We picked this classic piece and created a universal version using the almighty Denim,a fabric that has transcended countries and cultures. Using upcycled denim trousers and fabric , we created a 3d boubou with our petal technique and also a made a traditional cap out of denim trousers .
We created a piece that could transcend countries and cultures.

THE MATRIACH

A profound tribute to the silent strength and enduring grace of the women who anchor our families. Inspired by the ancestral art of the chest-tied wrapper—a style that signifies both domestic warmth and communal authority—this dress captures a silhouette that is as regal as it is relatable.
