First of all, look at how gorgeous our dog is. How are you gonna scroll with out giving this a like, repost, and share?!

Secondly, SexBandit represents ambition, unshakeable confidence and the belief that we are here - every one of us - to make a difference in the world. We have learned that the best way to do that is by showing, rather than telling. By being the example, not explaining the details.

It's taken us a long time to learn this lesson. We've been together over 6 years, and only now do we walk every step with this in mind.

We've been performing live together for 4 years and just 2 weeks ago we released our debut EP '222'. Fine wine takes time. Nothing great happens over night.

Through dedication, hard work, and repetition, the process takes shape and your voice becomes unshakeable.

With '222' we feel like we have finally arrived in the place where our vision, our voice, and our presentation walk hand in hand...in hand.

On Oct. 8th, SexBandit is performing our last show of the year and we want to share it with you. The songs, the stories and the artists we have become.

Show starts at 7pm and the tickets are FREE 99.

We'll see you there,
Tash & Alex

@ottawabluesfest was an absolute blast this summer! The crew, crowd and hospitality were world class. Yes, it was an epic roundtrip journey but the response and joy the band got out it was worth every kilometre.

If you are around next Thursday, Oct. 8th, come join us for a live and intimate SexBandit performance @theredwoodtheatre . Where we'll celebrate the release of our new album '222' and play a bunch of songs from our repitoire. Door is PWYC. Opens at 7pm.

Have you ever listened to a song you made and genuinley thought "Where did this come from?! Did I make this?" It's shocking because you don't remeber playing the parts or singing the runs. They just appeared one night.

That's what we mean by Guided.

Long before SexBandit existed, we knew the art we created had come through us rather than from us. A signal from somewhere greater, somewhere beyond earthly comprehension.

That's why we love this collection of songs so much. Every note and word on this album came from somewhere else for us to express to you. We are beyond greatful to have been the recievers and believers in these sounds.

We were Guided and we hope you experience this as well when you create.

Silence your thoughts, get out of your own way, and just let be what will be.

Art will find you.

Much love
Tash&Alex

What does it mean to be 'In My God'?

What is God?

Who is God?

Where is God?

Well, for us the answer is everything, everywhere, and everyone.

We are all one.

Cut from the same cosmic cloth, molded to live completely unique experiences. Though we may find similarities in each other, its almost certain we have walked different paths to that shared outcome. That we must revel in. That we MUST embrace.

Our strength is in our differences and the ability to recognize how those differences compliment.

We could not be more different. Male and Female. Black and White. Yin and Yang. But that is what created blance in our lives. When we look at eachother we see 2 sides of the same coin, same mission, same goal.

God is in the connection and creation that flourishes between us all.

Look at the people around you today and see yourself in them. See them in you and ask how can we create miracles together today....

Much love,
Tash & Alex
