You should care. You should be concerned. You should be outraged.

Over 41 million people receive SNAP benefits to feed themselves and their families. Those benefits will soon be unavailable and those families will not be able to feed their families. Not because they don’t “work hard enough” but because capitalism has made it nearly impossible for people to survive.

If you are okay with how things are, it’s probably because you benefit from the oppressive systems that create these issues. Don’t be a part of the problem, be a part of the solution.
